Ive gone up in rank in the Guild of Epics, to rank 2 - Stormtrooper.
There are 25 ranks, so I have a long way to go before im high rank.

Gamespot has posted new screens on their webpage of Lost Planet. Ive played the demo of this game and im anxious to play the rest of the title as the concept of 'keep moving or freeze to death' is new.
I got the 'Good taste' emblem
and the 'PC Aficionado' emblem
today. My first real emblems since I've been a member.
I am now an Ikari Warrior. Weird that Ive never played this game. I had literally a box full of Atari games and ive never even heard of this title.
I just finished playing through the Dark Messiah demo. I must say they did a very good job at using and modifying the source engine. It really reminds me of the Thief series, but with skill progression. I thought that you would pick a class at the outset, but your class is defined by what skills you choose aparently. I chose a bit of everything ( since the demo limits you to only a few skills and points to put to them ). You can light stuff like wooden crates near an enemy and he will catch on fire too. You can kick guys off of cliffs if you sneak up on them. The only few gripes I have are about controls. It seems that the mouse buttons arnt as responsive as they could be. I go to block and I have to press it a few times for it to work. Im not sure if this is because im not skilled enough yet, or if thats a design flaw. Also enemy AI is a bit weird. Sometimes they seem like they are doing well, and other times it seems like they had the AI turned off all of a sudden. All in all I liked it. Seems like they took some of my favorite things about action RPGs and mixed them up a bit for a new flavor.
Oh I forgot to mention that im lvl 8, though im more then half way to 9. I dont know when I will be able to track games or anything thought, but I cant wait.
