The first one was amazing. I can't wait to see how amazing the third one will inevitably be. Since they have more experience after making the second game and have had to time to reflect on how to bring improvements to the series, the third one will undoubtedly be awesome.

While I probably wouldn't have mind the NPC having VA, I'm ultimately glad there isn't any voice acting in the new game. Chances are if they did VA, I think when most people finally heard it, everyone's opinion would be split on the quality, regardless of how good it actually is or how terrible.

The Ganon comment has me concerned though. I hope Aonuma's reluctance to comment on him only turns out to be that Ganon plays a part SS, but he won't be a the main villain. I like Ganon, but it would be nice to see them try a new villain on the major Zelda titles.

I enjoyed Muramasa very much; however, I can't shake the feeling that it is missing something. I like in Odin Sphere where you could plant seeds, make potions, gather phozons by actually doing it yourself. It added something to the action. I know doing that sort of stuff probably is dull to a lot of people, but I enjoyed it. Of course, Kamitani's aim was to make this game more action focused, and doing that other stuff would have obviously slowed down the pace of the action.

And I must say, I dare to dream of the masterpiece Vanillaware could make if money and time wasn't an issue. Kamitani said in an interview that they had to cut several bosses and a good bit of story for Muramasa. It makes me wonder what they could create if they had a budget of a Mario or Zelda game. Man, if I was billionaire, I would help finance their game to make that happen. Even if it meant I wouldn't receive a penny of profit, they so deserve the chance to make a game without being hindered by a low budget and a short development time.

I would love to see a prequel on the Boss. We could see the founding of the Cobra Unit, and her leading them into battle. We could see her missions during World War 2 and her infiltration of Los Alamos. See the event when she gives birth on the battlefield during D-day, and for the finale, we see when she kills the Sorrow. Maybe we could also see her going into Space and when she trains Snake.

I would like to see a level involving a cruise ship. Maybe a wealthy individual has a particular artifact on board and you are trying to "borrow" it. Then eventually mercenaries come aboard the ship, looking for the same thing you are. On the ship, there would be different floors you need to go through. You may need to ask passengers, who are hiding in their cabins, for information to the location of your objective. And of course, once you reach the end and get the item, an explosion during the final fight of that level causes the boat to sink. The boat could sink like the Titanic, tipping over and going down into the water. This could change the dynamics of the levels when you are trying to escape.

Destructible environments that are affected by your own actions. What I mean is let's say when you first enter some fire fights, there is no appropriate cover. You can shoot some weak walls to create your own cover. You could shoot walls in the cities, boulders in mountainous regions, trees in jungles or forest. That's not to say these always be your only way to find cover, just optional or stragetic ways to fight, depending on your situation.

It would be also be cool if there was a third group trying to attain the main objective of the game. For example, there is Drake's party; the second party would be the villain who has all the money, manpower, and weapons; and a third party who has a highly trained group of say five or six people. They could funtion as bosses of certain levels. They reach certain points as you and try to stop you from getting an object. Maybe even team up with you temporarily to beat an intense firefight with the second party. And of course after you team up and survive the firefight, you both go one on one against each other.

I would also like to see female enemies with the men. Female soldiers, mercs, etc. Maybe even have the main villain be a woman.

I'm very excited about the Last Story. I've been following its production for a few months now, and it is a shame there isn't a little more talk about it. However, maybe once it gets the release dates in the West, and we are given more info and people are given a chance to play a demo, there will be more discussion about it.

Great news to hear. Hopefully, with the success Tatsunoko vs Capcom and Monster Hunter Tri, it will encourage Capcom to consider and bring more future projects to the Wii.

I predict with my crystal ball, when Nintendo is five minutes into the conference, people will be leaving comments like "This conference is boring." "Man, this is a snooze fest. Wake me up when they announce something good." "Announce Zelda already or I'm going to explode!" :P

On a serious note, I hope Nintendo spends just a little less time bragging about how well they are dominating the market in console sales. Yes, I know they just want their time in the sun and bask in the glory of the money they are making, but all the media outlets and gamers who will be watching this event already know how well they are doing.

But oh well, I'm going to keep expectations low and enjoy the conference. I look forward to this and the other conferences as well. I hope everyone enjoys them.
