you could build a pretty good gaming rig. i just looked up prices from the site:
e2200 2.2ghz dual core, 65 bucks

9800gt, 100 bucks

2gbs 800 ram, 25 bucks

case, 35 bucks

total 230

add a dvd burner and hard drive and mobo and psu and your good to go. shouldnt be more than 150 bucks andyou could have a gaming rig for 400 bucks total. try it.

I fell asleep in 1989, march 19. After being asleep for 3 days my parents consulted a doctor, they didnt know what was wrong with me. 20 years later, I have finally woken up. Tell me everything that I have missed.

Hi, I have two rigs. please choose just one part from each rig that you would upgrade first. you dont have to tell me the part, its not necessary. even if the parts are adequate for todays gaming please just pick one that you would still upgrade first. thanks. Rig 1: e2200 2.2ghz 2gbs ddr800 9600gt 512mb Rig 2: e2180 2.0ghz 2gbs ddr667 ram 4670 512mb thanks a heap.

stream process are like your brain, the more of them the more brains you have, ie makes things run faster. core speed the the speed each stream processor can think the higher the faster it can think. But 120 at 400mzh is much better than 32 at 800mzh. Memory speed is the speed the memory operates at the faster the better. the bit affects how large the chunks of data can be sent across the bus. a 512bit can sent 4x as much as 128bit. The memory is used for storing textures etc so if it is to slow ir reduces performance as the processor has to wait to access the memory to store whatever it needs to. imprezawrx500
thanks a heap

I need to know things like core and memory speed, gddr3 memory and ddr3 memory, 128-bit, 256-bit, and 512-bit, stream processors, and other things like that. why do they matter so much in cards. why is a 512mb 4670 better than a 512mb x1650 pro. thanks for any help.
