It was not good :?

I don't know why CSI Miami has become so popular with the Internet, because I remember in 2005ish when my friends were discussing the CSI's like the New York and some such, I'd butt in with statements like "YAH man, CSI Miami is like tehh best!" and stuff, to which that I'd all laugh and say that it's actually the worst one.

Just an obvservation I have noticed from being on this Internet.

And that's not even starting with the whole YLYL things...

GameSpot's good points are fairly obvious and don't need to be said, like the moderators keeping out all the bad people who needlessly insult others, "hot female" threads that objectify women, random insanity that may get thrown around, and other stuff.

But you guys are just avoiding the topic at hand by making quips since it's fairly fricking obvious the lack of people on this site.

Now granted, I'm all for people going out and having a life, but the fact is they're just going on to other websites, ones that don't have as well positioned forums as GameSpot.

Admittedly, I did not like the two back to back sequels that were relased, since I just couldn't tell what they were trying to do in those movies.

But I still would love to see some more Jack Sparrow :oops: :oops: *squeals*

There is no discussion here. And the Prop 8 topic just hurts your case because everyone is just spouting their own opinion without taking a moment to consider the other guy's view; just always on the offensive.

I actually don't notice as much religion threads now as there were back in the day. But otherwise you're kinda right. There are plenty of topics that do reach at the very least 20-30 posts, but even less that would reach much much higher amounts. Usually a thread will reach huge posts is either by turning into another roll call, dealing with user popularity or deal with politics and turn into a ":roll:" and ":|" fest, and of course there's girl help threads!

Gamespot (OT atleast) is active, it just has activity in more areas than others. Many game specific forums seem to be inactive, with the exception of System Wars and to a much lesser degree GGD maybe, I don't know...

At least someone sees it. The system specific boards like PSP are rarely visited. System Wars is a horrible cesspool of people arguing over... I mean it's just, not enjoyable to be there and see all the bashing and comments made.

I can understand some rivalry like wanting the PS3 to have a great exclusive or the 360 to have extra online features, but the stuff on that forum... I don't see how any veteran high leveled GameSpotters would want to be there.

Then here you can just see the topics and there are not nearly enough posts for a topic.

In popular culture America it seems everyone's about looking out for themselves and just gawking at an accident instead of helping. I'd rush in and help even if it mean I'd get hurt because I know I'm better than that.
