I read one article on there that was linked and found it pretty entertaining, so I decided to read a couple more as each phrase was a link to a new article.

However as it turns out the articles are really boring and not interesting to read at all. Mentioning events that happen in various mediums like movies and anime and TV shows is cool, but that's about it.

Do you guys think the website is funny at all?

Because in the original trilogy, the Force was an actual supernatural pseudo-religious concept/phenomena. In the prequels the Force was explained as "microscopic organisms that do stuff."

Lab392

So did it have something to do with science versus faith?

Many seem to mention these at points whenever a new person introduced into the Star Wars series comes along.

What's the deal with them and why fans facepalm when they're mentioned?

Well Dark Cloud 2 was just enjoyable, it was a really enjoyable game to play, but isn't exactly part of the criteria I'm looking for. Rogue Galaxy is also great and has some really fun gameplay, a shame it was overlooked due to its release date.

But Level 5 are just terrible with stories. They're absolutely horrible and the "plot" of their games completely falls apart by the middle to last act. I mean for example both those games started out really well and had quite the build-up but just... heh worse than fizzled near the end.

In any case I do not want shooters naturally. As I mentioned the WRPG formula like Oblivion's level scaling is just horrible. Or it being just a shooter like Fallout, Mass Effect, etc.

So... yeah. I guess it is a bit weird of a request.

I want a long, cutscene-infused game that has levels and stats (like Attack, HP, Defense, etc) and preferably actioney. Action RPGs elimnate battle load times. I still wouldn't mind random encounters, just no battle load times!

Also it needs to be an easy game (something Demon Souls did very wrong!) or have the option for that.

Lastly, I want it to... not reflect Japanese culture. I don't mean anything by it, I just want different models for male characters and not the same type of "females" if you know what I mean. I could go on explaining this but... just basically being everything that anime is not, and not heavily enforcing the stereotypes or certain likes about over there.

Animaniacs is awesome but you guys probably just like it because it had a bit of subtle jokes that most young 'uns would never get that were able to slip past the censors so to speak...

Do you smile with nostalgia?

Also inb4 Internet elitists talk about how overrated 90's cartoons are and just be general elitists. They were fun enjoyable cartoons and the memories of that time with friends and your childhood are most important. Hope everyone had a meaningful one!

I personally loved Darkwing Duck though and man if you could hear my parents busting my chops about some of the stuff I'd do in tandem with the show...

It sounds like you're not even talking about how good or bad the cartoon is. It sounds like you're saying that it's awesome because it reminds you of a happy time in your life. And if that's the case, then I could easily saying that crapping one's pants in public is awesome. Because the year I crapped my pantsa in public was the same year that I first got laid. Even today, on the rare occasions when I crap my pants in public, it reminds me of that glorious time in my youth when I first got laid. So, crapping my pants in public has to be awesome. Right?

Anyway, I remember Ducktales. It was a pretty crappy show. Not the best, not the worst, it was just a cartoon about ducks. Any connection with my life or my friends was purely coincidental, and had absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the show.

Way to be downer like we need more of that stuff on OT

Don't worry he's just messing with us :D . As you can see he's a level 50+ user which states a bit about his life, so he needs stuff like this for some form of stimulation.
