you definitely can use the Dpad or Analog, but if it were possible to use the PS2 controller to add the second analog for camera movement and or other functions. The dpad is a bit sluggish, seems the d-pad is best for opening menus and would have been cool if there were a jump feature.
I'm not putting the DS down in no way, but I just have to defend the fact that most of the DS games out now where games that came out on the Sony PSone system, and none of those games are on the PSP. I was like wtf, why is it so? the graphics on the PSP are way better than of that of the DS, but then again the DS is just a different experience then the PSP. On the DS I've noticed more kid style games like pokemon, and the a great abundance of action titles. Many of which you won't see on the PSP.
IMO getting a PSP is the best investment you can get. Games, Movies, Internet, Chat, Mp3, and still more. What more can you ask for...:lol:
Or download the software one click Youtube downloader and copy the vids you want on your PC, then convert them to you PSP and thats how you get to watch youtube vids.
The only other option to getting a RE game maybe to MOD your psp and download the RE port from the Playstation store via your PS3. Or play a homebrew style psp game made by a fan of the series. If Capcom is trying to avoid anyone copying the games, there should be something built that would make it hackproof, I have run out of other options.
It would be awesome if you could connect your PS2 dual shock analog controller to your PSP so you can take advantage of the second analog and games feel better, more in control.:D
I don't believe Sony will try to make a new handheld, maybe just more add-ons than anything. We seriously need the GPS add-on or mini Keyboard. But a new Handheld would bring down sales on the already PSP, and just run it obsolete. Hopeful that we see more gadgets for the PSP from Japan that will enhance our experience on the PSP.
GOW for the PSP in my opinion is a 10 of 10. But nonetheless game reviews like gamespot have to rate it and according to the development and design of the game they will give it the best rating it deserves. The game GOW in comparison with Crisis Core, they are 2 totally different games, and different genres, in a sense they both are related to the Hack and Slash genre, but the differ in many ways that Crisis Core is still consider a RPG style game as apposed to GOW being non RPG. But I understand what your objection is. GOWCoO should have gotten a 10 because it mimics or surpases its console brothers games of the same name. And FF7 Crisis Core looks simply awesome also, surpasing the graphics of the old PSone game of the same name. FF7CC is a 10 of 10 also. :lol:

Same here. I have questioned that yesterday here in the forums. I don't see any reason why there is no sign of a RE game in the Sony PSP library. Silent Hill was a fun game, but the survival horror king is Resident Evil. Its who started the craze. I hope that Capcom is seriously reading this, and hope they are thinking of taking our suggestions if not already working on a RE project.:evil:
