[QUOTE="eddy5791"]well the thing is, in the summer I've been playin about 10+ hours A DAY o_O. and i heard the battery life runs like 6-7 hours. So i don't know if i want to recharge my mic like every day ykno?balindos

10+ hours is a lot dude. dont you have a job or something. i mean i love to play but can only get in maybe 3 or 4 hours a day and im only 16.

Yo what are you guys talking about, don't you have a life?

Im lucky enough to get in 30 mins and im almost 16

i said i try to play. Im lucky if i even get to turn the fricken thing on somedays. i havent even played in a while.

lol i know, my playing hours are crazy. I'm 17 and I'm currently waiting on my dad to open his private doctor's office so i can be employed. And he's about 1 month away from doing that.

On top of that, it's summer and all i do is wake up at 2 pm, play till like 8pm, eat and watch some baseball, then get back on like at 10pm until 4 am. rinse and repeat

if there's one thing to balance out, it's that on school weekdays i can't play. so yea, just making up for lost ground here :P

Yeah your playing hours are insane. Its summer so go outside and chase some girls or something. But waking up late is ok. Video games are entertaining but in the end you dont learn anything and it keeps you locked inside which means your interaction with actual people is very limited. You will be surpised what the world has for you outside your house and video games have nothing on that. I like to play too but I only play on Sun, Mon, Tue nights because the rest of the days are for going out and party.

well cmon man, i thought it wasn't even worth mentioning that i party (almost every weekend) lol. rmmba, im 17. i gota beautiful g/f and a car. so i jst somehow make it all work.

and to top it all off, a cod4 clan lmao(we're 20-13!)

Well guys, thank you very much for all the input.

But as of 10 minutes ago, i just ordered the TurtleBeach Ear Force X1 headset(man thats a mouthful lol) for a grand total of $63. That included the $15 tax and shipping. i read the reviews, and i was very impressed.

So once again, thank you, and if you wanna continue this thread, then be my guests :)

xxxMoreBeerxxx

Where did you order it from? After reading a little about it, I am also interested in it.

Amazon.com

you can go to the official turtlebeach headset and order from there, but they'll run you $10 more

[QUOTE="eddy5791"]

Alright, in the past month, I've been through 2 wired headsets. The black plantronics one and the regular X360 one. the regular X360 one decided to not work yesterday in the middle of the game. i swear it just stopped. The same with the Plantronics one. So i'm forced to use a small whtie earpiece wired mic(also made by plantronics i think) and it is HORRIBLE. no one can hear me on Live.

So my question to you is, what should i do? Do i want to spend $60 on a wireless mic, even though i've heard many of its perils? or should i invest on a turtlebeach headset? OR should i spend another $20, for like the 4th time in my gaming career, on another reg. 360 headset?

APOLLOCJD

I would invest in a turtle beach which is a good quality low budget headset if your looking for something more ecpensive but higher quality you can check out the A40 Audio System (Amp + Headset) from Astro Gaming (www.astrogaming.com).

I have one and I swear by it!

Wow, those astro headets look serious lol. But unfortunately, i'm not ready to plop down $200 for one. So I'm doing a little research and I'm thinking of buying the TurtleBeach Ear Force X1.
