btw, if ya got friends that want to upgrade from their 8800gts's, it helps out alot too. i DID get BOTH for under 300 and im just as fast as a $550 GTX, im proud of my decision...... 'what about future proofing.'yousay.. Well next year i wont have an an 8 series card, ill have graduated to something entirely better.

I completely agree with eliteraven on this one, it takes (2) gts's to match the performance of a SINGLE GTX, now im not dogging on the gts's by any means, as a matter of fact, i got two in SLi, i just think velocitas is completely out of line on this one, and is just mad because he cant play WiC on his Wal-Mart e-Machine. grow up buddy, get a real computer, take the plunge, get vista and dx10, and see what games are supposed to look like.
