You should probably give ffx-2 a playthrough because when you tell your friends or somebody how totally fricking cool you are that one year you beat all the final fantasies and then the other person says "even ffx-2" and your like "no" it will totally ruin the moment.

But seriously I liked the game, I think you should go for it ;)

ok so im getting a whole load of games in preperation for next yr and im gonna beat ff series from 1-13 i havent beaten 8 or 9 or 12 only or x-2. seriously i bought x-2 to see if it was as bad as they said and even not comparing it to x-2 it was ehh

after viewing the endings on youtube i thought hmmm maybe ill reget it and put up with it for the story. is the story good enough to warrant another buy

i will agree that story of the year did a fantastic album, offspring too and mars volta but 10 years while good was a bit too like disturbeds new one: no rhythm more loudness i mean all your lies is one of my fave songs by them but kathy and autumn effect were just too kick ass with every song blowing me away. 3 doors down self titled was nothing compared to original self titled but still good. though i will agree rise against is getting me excited :)

I don't know about anyone else, but I sure am getting tired of great bands releasing new albums this year that don't live up to their earlier albums. Has anyone else noticed this? The only album that has me wanting to listen to the first song to the last song this year is Mindless Self Indulgence's "If". Here are a few albums that have been released this year that haven't stood up to the bands former albums...

OOMPH's "Monster" was just released and it's not nearly as good as GlaubeLiebeTod or Warheit Oder Plficht. Mostly the reason i don't particularly care for it is because of a lot of songs don't have rhythm. But Labyrinth is a really good song.

Disturbed's "Indestructible", while good still isn't as good as their older stuff. Much of the songs sound exactly the same and I can't find myself listening to the whole album, only a few songs...

Nine Inch Nail's "The Slip", pretty much the same problem with "Indestructible". Doesn't live up to Trent's other albums and I can only manage to listen to a couple songs on the album, the other songs just aren't that good.

Slipknot's "All Hope Is Gone", they went back to their roots in a way, harder rock and lyrics that are just terrible and without meaning. I loved Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses, but this new album goes into a completely different direction with it's terrible lyrics and no rhythm.

Has anyone felt this way about the bands that they like that have released albums this year?

ok most indie bands i know have realsed fantastic albums this year, most mainstream bands i love ditto. once edguy and funeral for a friend release their albums and if they kick ass ill probably consider it not the best year but a great year.

for hip hop as said in an earlier post yes. with that pos umbrella song i nearly killed myself cause every STUPID TWIT in the world was playing it
