@Darknight765 @egger7577 You remember when N64 perfect dark came out and you had to get the video enhancer card. I thought that was great it increased performanced and allowed a better looking game. Why wouldnt you want console ability to expand. Not being able to upgrade a console is why they get so outdated.

@wildkeny spent around $1000 on my rig around 5 years ago which runs Battlefield 3 maxd not sure why everyone thinks you need to spend that much

I think the gaming industry is at a turning point. It seems like every week we learn about another way a company is nickel and diming us the gamer/consumer. Gamers are getting older and now more wise to the money making machines and their strategies to milk a game. The industry has come a long way since the NES's Genesis and Ataris... Its not as pure as it once was and I would like to voice my opinion. It seems like this era of games, developers are not pushing the limits / they are settling and for me is frustrating. There are games from the 90s that still offer more Moding than those of today. Message boards in my opinion are becoming more angry because the age gap and experience level. First console NES gamers and first console 360 gamers have completely different mindsets and our opinions will continue to clash.

@michaelsgreat @edwards86 I never understood why only one person reviews a game. Three years ago I would probably give every strategy based game a five. Now I enjoy playing games like LoL and Starcraft. Everyone is going to have there own metrics for rating a game. You can compare it to fight judging. Everyone once in awhile theres a judge who scores a Mayweather fight a Draw and everyone else is thinking WTF thank goodness there are three judges.

Gamespot getting pissy because it's viewers think the score is unjust? It's an issue because you have really missed the bar several times. Natural Selection need I say more. Johnny quit playing the victim and do something productive like reviewing games as a panel not a single critic which have a greater chance of being completely incompetent. Also 9 out of 10 is a big deal when crap games like Cod gets a 9 and GTA 5 which has more detail than any other game thus far gets a 9. Good Night
