Please clarify. I like the 360, but I remember the power supply being rather large.

Heh.. they could've gotten a better actor to play that part.. at least better voice work.

But the game looks fun. Nothing groundbreaking I think, but fun.

I don't have a lot of PS3 games now, and I definitely haven't played through all the shooters on the 360, but I find that I keep going back to play Resistance, whether it is to start a new campaign, or to hit up some free for all multiplayer. Plus, my girlfriend likes to watch me play single player (she likes the story line and cut scenes), so that's a bonus too. She didn't like the Halo series at all.

Like I said.. I'm pretty casual when it comes to gaming. I probably play for about 30 minutes a day. But I know that a game is exceptional to me when I come on to gaming forums and make a thread about it.

I'm sorry Halo fans... but your coveted 360 gem is not the only sci-fi shooter worth playing. And to say that my opinion is flawed, or my argument is flat out wrong.. is pretty ridiculous.

The reason why I'm interested in the controller so much, is because I play my games in my living room on my HTPC..

So basically.. I'm like over 10 feet away from the screen and sitting on my couch. Putting a keyboard on my lap using the couch cushion as my mouse pad, is kinda annoying.

What are you talking about? COD4 is 1080p, and sorry, I don't notice anything but beautiful graphics. Your 1080p Aquos is garbage compared to my XBR4, which is the highest rated LCD on the market. Maybe that's why your games look bad.CrazyWerewolf

I'm pretty casual, but I can safely say that I like Resistance much more than Halo 3... or any of the Halo series for that matter.

The split screen is nice for MP on Halo, but that's about the only thing it has going for it. Regarding Resistance.. I find the story and gameplay to be much better than Halo. The weapons as well.

This is just my opinion.. I wanted to give credit where credit is due.

Can someone give me a run-down on games that will recognize PC usb game controllers.

For example.. I was playing need for speed and used my logitech controller pad with it. However, my Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened would not recognize it.

I'd like to get shooter and action games also.. but I think that the console experience might be better with the controls and all
