Yeah, I read that some frames in a given pixar movie can take up to 3 days to render. That's insane for a single frame. If you 're rendering at standard PAL, 24 fps, that's an eternity.

So no.. we're not even close to making that quality interactive.

Theres wikipedia with summaries, which dont really do much for me and gametrailers has been releasing these MGS synopsis things for the past few weeks, there are three episodes so far. They're pretty good. And I know playing them seems like not an option, but considering your not getting this game (atleast not the day it comes out) i suggest getting the essentials collection and just taking your time with it, the games arent too long. So long as you arent expecting a run and gun kill'em up game, i think you'll be pleased, the story is amazing, and the way the plot and the characters are done is extraordinary, you have an emotional attachment with each of them by the time the game is finished, which is the problem with reading the summaries and watching the synopsis', you just dont get that, and thats why MGS is so big, cause you just get attached.

Goldeneye was the best FPS multiplayer experience on any console, ever. It laid the blueprint for all your precious FPS games that followed.

It's blasphemy to say that Halo or COD4 offered better multiplayer experiences than 007.
