I have a 1000 and if I were to upgrade, I'd go with whatever version (2000 or 3000) I could find for the least money. Check Craig's list. That's where I got mine.
as far as differences:
1000 = Original fat
2000 = Slim & has video output so you can connect to a TV.
3000 = Slim & has brighter, improved screen (scan line problems are exaggerated) and a built-in microphone, etc.
Good for the Pens. Congratulations. Go get that Cup you left on the table last year. Maybe it'll make 'em fat & happy for next year ;). Crosby earned my respect. Malkin... He's an enigma... I don't know what that guy's ever thinkin' about. The Pens depth showed.
As far as superstition goes, I don't think lucky socks or sitting on my left ass cheek made a difference tonight. The Caps had no legs left and it showed. I was afraid of that going into tonight.
Gonchar playing was a bad omen as was Fleury's early stuff of Ovie.
I guess it's back to being a husband and father. Shucks.
