Although the game is good, it is indeed very overhyped. It wasn't anything we hadn't really seen before storywise, and the graphics aren't as good as some other 360 games. (GoW, I mean you)
Probably because Eur. and NA games display in different modes, PAL and NTSC respectively. It mat have to do with ratings as well. European ESRB counterparts could be just as useless and slow.:|
