I'm at 1.27V 4.02GHZ on my i7 930, I use a corsair H50. My idle are 37C lowest core and 41C on highest core, with Intel burn test. On load hottest core is 66C, lowest is 60C. Ambient temperature right now is around 70F. After contacting Corsair support they let me RMA and I am shipping out my H50 tomorrow morning. Reason is I have read people's reviews and people with 1.3V on their i7 920/30 had idle temperatures of low 30's and load temperatures of high 40's-low 50's.

I know my temperatures are not bad now but it gets really hot here in the summer like average of 100-103F, so it may idle at 48-50 around then.

It's because the 200 series were Nvidia's old cards.

Just like it is hard to find 4000 series cards. (Specifically the 4890)

Well those are entry level GPU. I wouldn't waste getting a 1gb version, opt for a 512mb if avaliable. No reason you need 1gb with those cards. As for bottlenecking, no those cards will NOT be bottlenecked by any core 2 duo you have.

Alot of people are angry at Nvidia not because they want to release a polished product but becuase they're trying to milk as much money as they can out of last generation cards. I mean come one how many lower end cards have they released within the past 8 months? Now how many next generation cards? Nvidia want to make the most money they can and they know no matter what people will buy their cards when they release it because they are Nvidia.

They didn't want to release their cards as early as ATI because they want to save money and make more money by releasing their new cards during a time where the economy was much better. In my opinion they should have released their cards last month but oh well.

I use MSI Afterburner and I have the monitoring information checked to show on the lcd of my Logitech G15.

As someone else mentioned, you may use Fraps

The only thing that needs upgrades are your GPU and 2gb more ram.

Hell you can OC your CPU to 3.6 ghz.

Get an XFX 5870 that way if you ever decide to upgrade you get more for your money since it has double life time warranty. As for me I took advantage of the low supply of GTX285 and was able to sell my 2gb version for 450USD on amazon (yes it was listed as used but it was the only one up on amazon so I guess the buyer was desperate, funny part is I meant to enter 350)

Honestly if you're a somewhat die hard fan of Star Wars, SWG will sitll do fine. I mean pre CU was an awesome time, and that's a fact. Also gameplay in SWG isn't as stable and solid as WoW but it's still a great game if you're really into star wars

I recently bought a Samsun 260HD and it has been great for watching tv and for computer usage (gaming and regular usage), but when ever I play my ps3 everything looks so bad, like it's 480p.

The ps3 looked alot better on my Acer H233 Hbmid 23 in.Yes I made sure that 480/720/1080i/1080p were all checked on my ps3. I also used different HDMI cables (which shouldn't be the issue anyway)

I was wondering if any one had any suggestions?

As someone said it's never a good idea to overclock from windows.

Second of all if you have an HP, I wouldn't advise you to over clock it. You won't see much performance increase by the slight over clock you may be able to do with that system
