Perhaps a bit early but is there anything your dying to see at E3 this year? Personally the only thing I'm looking for is more info about the playstation VR and it's games(which I really hope isn't gonna turn out to be another playstation move deal). Maybe some more info on battlefield 1 and dishonored 2.
So I'm sick to death of playing with random people(well not really sick to death, just really annoyed at the amount of trolls I've run across lately) so im looking for a siege group. My top 3 defenders(the ones I always go for if they are available) are mute, jager, and doc while my top 3 attackers are ash, fuze, and blitz.
let me know if you have a opening in your group. I'm free to play most evenings(5:00 pm est and on)
I'm firmly in camp PlayStation. although I do think it's kinda sad that so many of the console war stuff overlook Nintendo(or at least the few things I've been paying attention to). I know they went in another direction with the whole casual market but they are still one of (if not the) most recognizable game companies out there. And the Wii U isn't bad. Splatoon is amazingly fun. But still if i had to choose one I'd go PS4 every time.
@toast_burner: THANK YOU! that really takes me out of the immersion.
Also I didn't know the whole existence is secret thing. I should have probably added that the only other rainbow six game I've ever played was vegas 2. And I only play to the third mission.
So this is(so far in my life) the smallest thing in a game to really bug me. In rainbow six siege Smoke's nitro cell is detonated via a cell phone. Why? Smoke's a member of the SAS working(I assumed, I'm still kinda sketchy on the overarching story) with/for rainbow six. He should be equipped with a military grade detonator. In fact he is, his toxic gas grenades use a military style detonator. so why use a cell phone for the nitro cell? It would make sense if they had playable terrorist in the game but these are members of a fully funded government back military organization. they should have access to real detonators all the time.
and to get it out of the way
1. Yes this really bothers me.
2. Yes it's a small point to bring up, and does not stop me from playing the game.
3. I know more operatives then just smoke carry the nitro cell but he was the first one i unlocked so I'm focusing on him.
4. No I don't have anything better to do that complain online about what is so far the game I've been spending the most time playing.
I'm seriously looking at getting into VR gaming(and VR in general). Right now the set I'm looking at is the Samsung's VR Gear. Anything I should know before getting into it. Game recommendations? Hooking up the headset to a computer? should i get a controller to go with it? ect. I was pretty much ignoring VR until now so so far I'm going in blind. and when I say ignoring, I mean head in sand levels here.
Physical. I like to put all the discs in a tub and take a game bath(i have broken SO many games over the years)
So one of the biggest guilty pleasure I have is liking TBBT. Although I'm never really sure how bad I should feel about it. On one hand a lot of it's jokes come from tired stereotypes about geeks, The characters are also walking stereotypes, and it never really dose much to push people perceptions or geek culture. On the other hand I'm a sucker for the "Two best friends sharing a apartment, sitcom adventure" shtick, and I do think they moved away from stereotyping the characters in the later season. Wolowitz is a good example. He's the pervy "OMG he never had a sexual encounter that didnt involve money or a 10-15 Mbps internet connection" nerd, but he ended up in a stable(for a sitcom) marriage. And as much as they use geek culture as the punchline, they are also giving it representation in the prime time spotlight.
How do you all feel about the show?
