Hey there, i'm thinking of buying a laptop and of course i want the best processor i can buy (and i know i need a good GPU as well :P) then as i was choosing my processor options i noticed Intel Core 2 Extreme-prosessor X9000, being an Extreme processor i did research about this one but strangely I could not find the X9000!!! So if someone could tell me what kind of processor it is, is it Dual or Quad and all other specs, fill me in the whole thing! (i've noticed some Extreme processors are Dual and Quad, that is why i asked wether or not it was Dual or Quad :P)

This happened to me as wel, this is what you should do

Remove the RAM chipset 1 after 1 and play the game that crashes the most and play it for a really long time and wait and see to see if it crashes or not, do this to all the RAM chipsets, this takes patience :P

This may have to do with your CPU as well, but in my case it was the Sound Care :\ yea, the sound card coused all the crashes!

But i'm still learning, so i would do this as a last resort!

So, i'm having a problem with Gothic 3. Not in game problem but a .ini problem; to activate the cheat console in the game you have retype TestMode=false to TestMode=true. Which i did, but then i got an error message which really goes on my nerves when i've tried to fix it several times.

Then i noticed the file i'm supposed to retype the TestMode=false thing said; ge3 and that's it. So i retyped in to ge3.ini and failed, then i tried gr3.Ini and still failed. So i'm out of ideas what to do... what do you suggest?

PS: my OS is Vista if that counts for something
