Well first of all, if you're not using a One X, you're selling yourself short. I've been renting and owning games through Gamefly since 2006, (All Hail Gamefly), and with so many drawbacks considering the limitations of the digital-only format, it seems like something most gamers wouldn't appreciate. No more borrowing, sharing with friends, no game buy-back or recycling, no rentals, no option to even watch Blu-Ray or 4k discs? Seems like a pretty bunk deal, I'll keep my disc drive thank you very much, haha!!!
I think you might be mistaken. The PS Plus games are a tremendous value. So how would you argue that games like Resogun, Trine 2, Outlast, Velocity, Strider, Injustice UE, Escape Plan, among others are in some way not a good value? XBL gold games are typically on the lower end of the free spectrum, but your claims actually have very little merit.
Looks pretty enough, yet I've invested many hours in GTAV already, and see no need to pick up the shinier current-gen version. First-person mode looks really cool though.
So much content, this looks like a must-buy. With my Gamefly membership I get to play most games I want, but I would be lying if I said I played any of the previous DA installments. I've got the Evil Within and Alien Isolation right now and I'm hoping I can finish either of them in time to get release-day shipment of DAI. Too huge to just rent, y'all!
Those are some pretty impressive prices, but even with some decent exclusives releasing, for multiplatform games, I imagine I'd be partial to my PS as the performance is just a tad bit beefier. If I could get the SO console with a 1TB capacity I'd got out and get one as soon as they go on sale.
Shuckamuck, tempting, but still not yet enough exclusives to pick up an XB1. I'm waiting for Halo 5, but my PS4 satisfies for now, besides, when I do get an XB1 I'll probably play most multiplatform games on the PS as common knowledge dictates slightly better specs are to be found with Sony.
Black Flag sucked, in my opinion, but the Sleep-O Dawgs were pretty rewarding though, but not rewarding enough to justify playing it again with a barely noticeable difference in digital visual bliss, neither is GTAV for that matter.
Probably rent this from the almighty Gamefly, but I don't reckon it's a keeper. Even though I dig my PS4, I'm getting awful sick of these TV commercials where they make it appear that this multiplatform, cross-generational release is only available on PS4. Most gamers understand this, but it can fool the uninformed into believing a falsehood, which, in my opinion is unethical. MS and Sony are both guilty of this...remember the Destiny and Diablo 3 Ultimate tv ads which lend credibility to my claims? Or the MS Madden and FIFA ads doing the same thing for XB? False advertising was conceived by scum.
That's awesome! I've been so looking forward to this game since the PS4 launch, and boy, does that extra year delay prove necessary if the game was able to yield such incredible critical acclaim! Had it released at launch, it might've earned a mediocre review, but as everyone can now see, this is a goty contender and major system seller!
