I made a massive mistake once, make sure that the cable going from the modem to the router is in the right one. That fixed mine.

being in the U.K. we have to pay £40 a year which is about $20 at the current exchange rate i think. no complaints so far well worth it, even though the u.k. is paying more then america in practically everything, we cant complain, weve had our great british game makers make games the way they were meant to be made, with loadsa cash, time and advertising, i mean would the transformers game really be that popular if it had not been advertised? such quality works go missed. lionhead and rare being bought by microsoft was certanly a great idea - peter molyneux is fascinated with xbox live and wants everyone to play together wherever you are, and i think thats whats worth the money, the freinds list system is so simple and handy, a friend across the world is your gaming buddy when you choose "invite to game" when you get cut off from xbox live, its like being cut off the internet, or from your phone, it feels like you cannot be contacted by those too far away, you get it back and you realise a door has just opened, filled with new people, excitment, entertainment, an entire new world is out there, on xbox live.perhaps im taking the wrong look at it, what else could you buy with that money? another game? wouldunt you rather play with your freinds for an entire year and save up for a game? i mean its not that expensive anyway, the fact is XBL is the best console version of online play, so popular, every console today has copied it in some way- even the wii uses wii points, it has paved the way for online play for consoles and can only get better.

£40 a year is about $80 dollers. Learn the exchange rate.
