Im in it for the games. I dont care about exclusives, I dont care about hardware. I only care about how much fun Im having.

I wont lie though, up until August my Xbox One was a paperweight, essentially. Ive had Battlefield 4, since February when I got the Xbox One, but I rarely played it until August. Now that it's October Ive picked up Shadow of Mordor, and The Evil Within. Now I never play my 360, so we moved it upstairs to our bedroom for tv/movies at night, lol. Payday on the 24th, I'll be getting Alien and then on the 7th, I'll be buying Assassins Creed. So hell yeah, I love my X1 more than ever now.

I didnt have any trouble. I put the disc in and started installing it, went upstairs to go #2, and when I came back down it was done.

I love violent, gory video games but atleast when Im playing that, whatever Im shooting at is trying to kill me also. This "game" does nothing to even try to justify the violence. Perhaps Im getting too soft, but I will not be playing this game.

Edit- Looking over other posts, I just want to say this; Anybody else want to play it, fine by me. It's great if you want to play it, Im just saying I dont want to play it.

I havent been scared yet, and Im on Chapter 6.

However, my fiance thought the game was creepy, until the crawling b**** came around. Then she thought it was terrifying, lol. She's scared easily, and anything even close to The Grudge terrifies her, lmao. I knew it was coming, but I didnt tell her. Does that make me an asshole? Dont know, but it was hilarious when she screamed and covered her face xP

I'd give it a solid 8.5 out of 10. Its a great game. The gameplay is tense and nerve-wracking, the atomsphere is incredible, and the combat isnt too bad either.

The only bad things are that I feel that the camera is too close to the player character, and the whole game is in widescreen and the black bars on top and bottom are incredibly annoying.

Overall though, fantastic time so far. I had a Hell of a time deciding between this and Alien earlier (Spent over an hour thinking), but Im glad I picked this up. I'll just get Alien on payday, and another good thing is that Evil Within already scared the Hell out of my fiance, lmao

I was hyping both Shadow of Mordor AND Destiny. Love Shadow, didnt really care for Destiny.

I dont think it was so much the hype, it was what the developers say about the game versus what they actually delivered.

From recent memory, just a few days ago.

I was playing Shadow of Mordor and I was on a ledge over a fire pit with some Uruks relaxing around it. I decided to blow it up, thinking I would be fine. It blow up and knocked me back, and I ended up being stuck in the wall somehow. Couldnt fight, couldnt move, couldnt climb. I ended up just fast-traveling to the nearest tower.

I bought Shadow of Mordor last Thursday, and I just beat the main mission line a few hours ago. I decided to go out and buy The Evil Within, so Im installing that right now and Im very eager to play it. I just hope I can play for a little while before my son wakes up, because I wont be playing it around him.

I will say this though, I had a hell of a time deciding between The Evil Within and Alien: Isolation. Both look so damn good, but I could only afford one at the moment. I'll just get Alien within the next month or so.

This year, yeah.

But 2015.... Sony will destroy MS. The Order, Bloodborne, and Uncharted? Pretty sure Deep Down is PS4 Exclusive, and thats going to be awesome.

Dont get me wrong, I like both but MS has nothing on Sony next year.

Theres too many games coming out that I want. Im only going to get a few though, and I doubt Destiny will be 1. Ill get it, but Im not sure when.
