How much is my performance suffering by running at a resolution of 1400 X 900 with a 8600 GTS 256MB RAM. '

I wonder how much my performance is suffering on games like UT3 and Cod4. The rest of my specs are:

Intelc2d E6850 @3.00GHZ

400 GB HD

ASUS P5KC MOBO

2GB OCZ 800mhz RAM

I thought it would run much smoother actually. Call of Duty 4 is much more exciting and I like the setting of the demo (night or dawn idk). UT3 looks cool but doesn't perform in gameplay. The visuals is where it stops.

Intel Core 2 Duos are better than AMD Athalon stuff...unless you are on a budget...and US dollars and Canadian dollars aren't the same last time I checked.
