buy the store warrenty... cause im on my 2nd ps3 now, the first one kept freezing on me... i only had it less then a month and it screwed up... luckly the 30 day purchase warrenty wasnt over yet, and i returned it for a brand new one.... buy the store warrent it covers everything... controllers, ps3, the ports in the back if they screw up... and plus you dont have to send it in to sony and wait ages... im angry to say that my ps3 broke before my 360 did buti still love it hopefully this doesnt happen to anybody

i did like a 10 hour sitting of God of War 2 nonstop.. turned it off. slept.. woke up.. and it was the only game that worked..
all my other games didn't lol so i got a new one from Best Buy :x
i'm still good for now :x

no cause in that case i get 2 extra years... after the manufacturer warrenty which is 1 ifi have any problems what so everi can call sony and send it in... but in this case i can either go to best buy or calll sony which just made me loose money cause i wantedit to start after the manufacturer warrenty ends... and i remember when i called sony that the rep told me thatthe extended warrenty that you buy will start after the manufacturer warrenty ends.. i live in canada i dont know what the deal is in the states

well ps3 got me deppresed... only got it last month and it kept freezing on me about 2 days ago while playing rainbow six vegas... tryed every game they all froze.. finally called sonys customer service today and talked to them, they said it happens "rarely", luckly my 30 day warrenty on the ps3 didnt expire yet it expires this friday... so the sony rep told me to go down to best buy and to replace it... and so i did, i get there and i bought a warrenty for 2 years thinking this might happen again, and that i dont want to wait 2-4 weeks to send it in to sony and to make them fix it,saves me some time...so im there and they gave me a new ps3... when i got home today i notice there was 2 stickers on the folding part of the ps3 where you have to open it... it got me pretty clueless on why theres 2 instead of one, cause when i first bought my first ps3 there was1 sticker not 2, but they said its a brand new one... so i thought it was a brand new one and didnt bother checking it at the store, and then i noticed that my warrenty expires in dec.11/09 and i remember the sony rep telling me that the extended warrenty that you buy will start after the manufacturer warrenty expires and so that got me more deppresed... im to lazy to call best buy tonight so i;ll do it tomorrow... is anyone on there 2nd or 3rd Ps3's? and what do you guys think about the 2 stickers thatwas on the box do you think someone brought it back before and best buy fixed it and resold it or what?? please tell me what you guys think.

omg... i ejected RSV and it froze... i turned it off from the back... and turned it back on a few seconds later... but now theres no picture coming out of my tv but my ps3 is on?? whats going on?? ok i dont know what to do... does anyone know the ps3 hotline number?
