From a technical standpoint it is probarly the best piece of hardware on the market at this point. Too bad that the functionality, marketing, and games are crap.
The game library consists entirely from downgraded console versions with the touch screen gimmick tacked on. The PS VITA itself is real clumpsy for a handheld and the menu screens and apps are complicated to use.
The system is also very expensive. With 1 game and a mandatory memory card the total puchase price lies between 350 and 400 euro's (350 if you get the WIFI only model and 400 if you get the 3G model). Damm, for half that price you can get a XBOX 360 or PS3 with 2 wireless controllers and 2 games. And as i mentioned before, you can play the original games on those wich haven't been downgraded for the PS VITA
In my opinion Sony was to busy to create a technical masterpiece that they forgot about everything else.
