Ok, weve all seen the trailer, yeah it has good graphics, bla bla bla. Now, will someone please enlighten me as to why this game is going to be so great, without talking about graphics AT ALL? I understand the game looks amazing when considering graphics only, but what I dont understand is why all the Cows were constantly complaining about Gears having no color, look at the Killzone trailer, lets see here: Grey, some black here, some more grey, grey...oh yeah and grey! And also, in my opinion, the gameplay graphics dont come close to matching the trailer shown at E305.
Blu Ray is constantly touted as the trueHD disc format, simply because it has a few more gigs of space. Rediculous. Is that more important to you than features? Ok, lets compare the upcoming release of 300, which will be released on both. '
Check out the features for each. So why is Blu Ray better again? Sure, it may be a few bucks cheaper, but quality comes at a price. And you get what you pay for...

Those of us unlucky enough to have not been invited to E3 (most of us) didnt get to see the Halo single player level that was shown behind closed doors. BUT. An amazing site called gamersyde was able to at least get footage of part of the campaign lobby at the beginning of the vid, but you are forced to stare at some guys face throughout the rest.
But hear me out, this game SOUNDS amazing. You think call of duty had intense battle chatter, listen to this halo 3 demonstration and be blown away. Just the sound by itself is enough for me. Let alone getting to PLAY the game on Sept 25.
Sound only E3 Halo 3 demo: (hey its better thn nothing, and it sounds amazing.)

One heavily hyped feature of the Halo 3 beta was the ability to save clips from every multiplayer match and share them with friends. The feature ended up being very stripped down and mediocre for the beta. You couldnt even rewind or fast forward your saved clip, or play it in slow mo. I recently read a new article from IGNs hands on with Halo 3. Hereare some extremely exciting things depicted in it:
"The completed Halo 3 editor is a true marvel and unlike anything we've ever seen in a console game. At any time during normal playback, you can pause the video. It's easy to hop to other players and watch from their perspective. Or you can MOVE THE CAMERA FREELY,SPINNING IN ANY DIRECTION, FOCUSING ON ANY POINT.
"All the controls you could want are available. Rewind, slow mo, and even "chapter skip" to move ahead to a later part of the clip. Find a hot visual and you can take a screenshot. Every screen is saved to your 360 and uploaded to Bungie.net, where you can then download it to your PC."
"You don't have to pause the game in order to enjoy the free camera. It works perfectly with the game running at full steam. There are no playback issues, no slowdown, and no hitches even as you spin the camera around amidst multiple explosions."
"Amateur film editors can record the camera angles, slow mo, and other effects to any clip they cut. Though you can only set a start and end point, you can still create your own visual flow for a scene and then upload it on Xbox Live for others to enjoy. Those who download the clip can choose to watch your take or grab hold of the camera and manipulate it as they please."
"Customization has been added, allowing gamers to pimp out their Spartans with more individualized looks. New helmets and customized armor were on display to go with the various color schemes already seen in the beta."
"The last time I was truly impressed by a multiplayer feature, it was Bungie's stat-tracking features in Halo 2. They've done it again. The video editor is awesome. And the best part is that YOU CAN ALSO SAVE VIDEOS FROM THE CAMPAIGN AND USE THE EDITOR THE EXACT SAME WAY."

Sounds AMAZING. Imagine playing co op with a buddy and being able to witness the whole level over again. View all the carnage, all the mayhem. With different angles and viewpoints every time, in slow mo or not, and then save it to your 360 and share it with your friends, or keep the clip as a trophy of your "legendary" adventures.
Can Killzone 2 do THAT?
