ooooooooook? It has "more than half" (even though only two of them are multiplat), and on top of that "more than half" does not make PC a 360 alternative if you want 360 exclusives.
No exclusive is worth a busted machine. There's no excuse for spending $300 on a machine that doesn't work right. I'm not going to buy anything just for 5 must have exclusives. Not when multiplats are 80% of what people buy anyways. Then don't buy it. I don't care whatsoever. My friends happen to find more than "5 must have exclusives" so it's worth it to them.
Well, I hope your friends take a different approach when they go buy a car or something.Lol. No, but the PC has more than half of those.[QUOTE="ethercore"][QUOTE="treedoor"]
Did the PS3, and Wii magically obtain Halo 3, Gears of War 2, Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts, Mass Effect, Left 4 Dead, Shadow Complex, Fable, GTAIV DLC, etc etc etc?

C'mon, we both know Gears 2, Halo 3 and Shadow Complex will be on PC. No exclusive is worth a busted machine. There's no excuse for spending $300 on a machine that doesn't work right. Are you saying there's no alternatives to your brand of HDTV?

Meh, my friend got it once, and his response was basically that the 360 has such a good enough library that it's worth the risk especially now with the 3 year warranty, and I know a few people that have that same mindset.
That's like saying if my HDTV dies after two years its totally okay because the shows are worth it.Are you saying there's no alternatives to your brand of HDTV?

My friend Mike got ODST yesterday and wanted to come over and play, I said sure but asked him to bring over his 360 instead, we wanted to play in my family room and I didnt want to unplug my 360 from my room.
So he comes over, we plug in the 360 and as I start it up he tells me his fan is shot and has been for a while now so we cant play for too long. As soon as we got to ODSTs main menu his 360 made a huge humming sound and it slowly went away, like a long, loud powering down sound. He got the RROD.
I dont get it.
5 minutes in a 68 degree room? I heard the RROD problem was bad but Jesus, that was ridiculous. Im actually VERY scared to play my 360 again.
I play it maybe 30 minutes every 2 days but it sits between both my Wii and PS3.
... and yep. There was really no point to this thread, just sharing.
I actually have 1 question though, does the game your playing affect the RROD rate at all? I mean, do certain games exert consoles more?
Watever. Next time either blog it or dont lie to your fellow threadsers. So every RROD story is a lie?To lemmings, yes.
