Why do games not have that big global chat thing anymore like they used too? I rember when I first started playing games they would have chat rooms for everyone then you moved off into a room to play. Then they started up those multiplayer gameing sites like mplayer, gamespy, and the msn zone. Still all of those had chat rooms. But now its so rare in the games I come across to find any. Its not that I want to chat so much but I do miss the back and forth, and how you would learn peoples names and make friends or start clans so easy because there was that little chat thing. Now everything seems to have a very impersonal matchmakeing system, throw you in a game, never learn who your playing with, and then back out again to repeat. I miss the good old days.

I don't really understand what a L2 cache is, but if two cpu's are identical in every other way but the L2 cache (one is 3mb the other 6mb) is the diffrence in cache size enough to justify paying $300 more dollars?
