@Smoke89 - thanks for the comment! yea i've read reviews before getting this board but i got a huge hook up from a friend so i got it for a really cheap price. so far it's been solid for me and temps have never raised above mid 30's since day one, even without the assistance fan that you can add to the motherboard. i did a lot of photoshop, 3d modeling, and rendering the past week and a half (left the computer on too for 3 days i think) and temps stayed the same (30-36C) which is pretty awesome so far haha i don't know maybe i got lucky but your right, @robertoenrique you don't have to get this board if it's looks your after you can get better p67 boards or a z68 chipset one. later i'll add the assistance fan (friend has extra one) and see how well it does.

@Elann2008 - thanks for the comment haha my gf said the same thing about looking like a spaceship, but she's the one who chose this for me (i was going to get the black one) so far i started liking the whole color scheme plus it reminded me of a scout trooper's helmet

@GeordiLaForge - i have a logitech z5300 and they're gray without the cover

@V4LENT1NE - nice rig! loving the gigabyte 580 looks sick!

@AutoPilotOn - Is that a thermalright ultra 120 cooler? i use to have one but one of the brackets broke =\ nice rig by the way i've always loved the black and red color scheme. the 2 radeons makes it even better

@IcyRhythms - cool you got the same mobo haha funny how people are arguing in your video, especially the comment about spending so much on a ssd drive because i got the same exact one yesterday lol and 120gb is a perfect size for me. after a fresh windows 7 install i still had 99gb and that's plenty for some games and programs so just keep building. are you going to put up a video of the finished build?

*UPDATE*

sorry for the late replies i was busy the past week with work and E3 =D but anyway i got my new 580 and intel ssd (to replace the wd raptor) wow this thing is f*cking fast lol this is my first ssd and i don't think i'll ever go back to hdd haha anyways here are some new pics of the 580 with the backplate
