There was NO one surprised by anything Nintendo showed... The same old same old... Another DK, another mario, another wii sport something, another of another...

The ONLY thing they got was their 3DS and EVERYONE was expecting it...

If Sony can show something different and not only remixes of ther SAME OLD franchises AS THE ONLY THING THEY GOT, ther could win...

You can use a PS3 controller witj the PSPGo and YOU CAN USE all the buttons when you play PSOne games on the PSP but you can only use the "normal PSP configuration" when using a PS3 controller, so you can NOT use the second analog or the L2, L3, R2, R3 when using PSP Games.

Oh my... To dissasemble ANYTHING without the permission of the holder is unethical. If you were a PROGRAMMER and your programs gets uncompiled and then modified is unethical. So...

It seems that a lot of people did not get the whole history here... I will try to explain SOME things, for the complete explanation you will have to look elsewhere to find the answers.

All begins with Pandora's Box... Prometheus ("forethought") stole the sacred fire to bring it to man so Zeus punished him for his crime (let the man be like gods, having the control of fire) by having him bound to a rock while a great eagle ate his liver every day only to have it grow back to be eaten again the next day. Then decided to punish all mankind for accepting this gift, so he made a reunion with all the gods to create a temptress, Pandora ("all-endowed"), with each god helping him create her by giving her unique gifts. Zeus ordered Hephaestus to mould her out of Earth as part of the punishment of mankind for Prometheus theft of the secret of fire, and all the gods joined in offering her "seductive gifts".

Then Zeus took Pandora to Prometheus brother house, Epimetheus ("afterthought"), because he was the guardian of a JAR (not a "box") that held all the "gifts" he didint share between animals and men after their creation. Pandora, which was gifted with an extraordinary beauty, won easily Epimetheus heart. But, more than anything, Pandora had curiosity so she opened the pot and let out all the plagues in the world so men would never be like gods because, from that moment on, men would be his own worst enemy. The only thing still in the box was Hope, once she had closed it again.

So, as the myth say, HOPE was inside Pandora's Box. In the GOW mythos, Zeus put inside the box all the evils of the world and Athena put Hope so, when Kratos opened the box, it released ALL on the world. Kratos abosorved HOPE and the GODS were affected by all the evils, changing them. As we can see, Zeus had FEAR and Athena was corrupted by GREED and that's the reason she no longer could see what's wrong with her thinking.

It all is a circle. I think the history was very well told.

When you take your HDD from a PS3 the PS3 will not recognize the disk, even if you put it inside THE SAME PS3.

The PS3 will ask you to FORMAT the HDD if you want to use it. You CAN NOT take a disk from a PS3 and then
insert it into another thinking it will retain your data. The New PS3 will need TO FORMAT the disk before it can
use it and, EVEN WORST, if you dont want to format the disk and then return the disk to the old PS3, IT WILL
ASK TO FORMAT the HDD because, from the moment you remove the disk, the PS3 will not use it's data.

I'm truly dissapointed by this downgrade of one of the best features of my PS3 but I understand how Sony need to protect the system.

I have Ubunty 9.10 Karmic Koala on my PS3 and it runs very well when you move the Swap from disk to the /dev/ps3vram partition.
I have my eMail, internet messaging, Firefox browsing and media player with VLC installed in this environment and, with some
OpenOffice and the tiny AbiWord word processor, this could be a nice personal computer. I even edited my excel spreadsheets using
OpenOffice.

This is a feature I will really miss but if I have to sacrifice my PS3 to piracy over my Linux, I will choose my PS3 security.

I'm formatting an external HDD rght now to make a giant backup of my PS3 partition so I can reformat my PS3 and remove
my Other OS partition. Then I will restore my backup and update the firmware.

It is very sad but, as I said before, the PS3 security is the priority.

I really have to force myself to finish that game... What a bad history and everything was wrong.
Ashe was the most annnoying thing in history and Vaan... Oh my God... I hated that game just for Vaan!

I have Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala in my PS3. It runs somewhat slow but it gets the job done.

With Ubuntu you can install a media player with support to all your files (I use VLC) and
you can use a better browser (Firefox) and a messenger type application (Pidgin).

You can even install lagacy video game consoles emulators to play and, if you want,
use the OppenOffice app to make documents and spreadsheets (I dont use OppenOffice
Writer but the AbiWord application).

Linux is a free OS so you only have to download it from the Ubuntu site or, if you want
another Linux variant, you can download it without any cost to you.
