The worst example that comes to my mind is gears of war (PC or w/e). No intro, no nothing, that was so freaking stupid! I even remember starting a thread about how stupid it was

Seems way over the top. The game was launched in a bad state. That's certainly unacceptable. It's not ok for ID it wasn't ok for CD Project or a number of other developers either. At least they've acted quickly and getting a patch out that fixes the issues and offers players the ability to customize their settings according to their own preferences. So did ID drop the ball? Yes, no question about it. As for the idea that they betrayed or violated PC Gamers? That strikes me as a gross over reaction. Dude they totally did. When you develop a game for 5 (or so) years, test it and then test it again, stuff like that just shouldn't happen. That's one thing about releasing a faulty game. The second thing is that when you have a reputation like ID has you should treat the PC version of the game at least as well as you treat the consoles (if not better, cuz still it's ID). I can guaranty you that alot of people bought the game knowing those facts and knowing that it will be a flawless (at least technicaly speaking) game just because it's ID and carmack, and we all know how that ended. Another one bites the dust..
Well I actually play on normal, but still it should get hard at least in some points, right? I'm on act II (at the end of it I think) and everything is just too easy, even the big monsters and the bosses (just finished the draug). Will it get harder at some point (like at the beginning of the game)? or should I just switch to hard? Thanks.
When I see a trailer of "Homefront". I'm really like it. because it look COOL!!! and I think, I will buy it. but when I see Gamespot review. I think this game look bad. Should I get this? or rent it. Ps. I'm play games on PC. Ps. Sorry for my bad English...NottEvenWrong
I have, however, seen it many times where a GPU overheats under load. Your solution? Buy a fan to cool it or use something like rivatuner to underclock your GPU slightly so it runs cooler.
No mate, it doesn't overheat, it goes up to 85 max under load. Thanks though. I will try to underclock it (already did it before but only by a little notch, will try to do some more).
