@d-man @faceless-mask @ExtremePhobia @WaximusMTPD What's wrong with letting people get multiple points of views? There's always gonna be 1 main review and 1 main score, but with multiple reviews, people will be able to see different points of views, and they can decide whose point of view they agree with. With 1 review, you either agree with the reviewers opinion or you disagree. With this system, not only are their multiple opinions, it also let's you get more information on the game itself, so that people can make more well informed decisions about whether or not to buy the game. Plus, with regards to revisiting old games, some games have changed immensely since they first released. By being allowed to revisit games, reviewers can also post what changes have been made, whether the game has improved or become worse, and provide a more up to date opinion on the game itself, as opposed to a game being marked down with a score which is possibly lower or higher than it deserves currently.

@ExtremePhobia @WaximusMTPD My bad, it seems like they ARE going to be revisiting games as well. But they're also going to be making multiple reviews for games. So Tom's review is just another take (ie, his) on the game. You can choose either his review or Kevin's review to agree with, it's up to you.

@ExtremePhobia @WaximusMTPD These aren't just revisited games. In case you guys forgot, the staff said that from now on, multiple reviewers will be putting up reviews for games. It looks more like they decided to start doing multiple reviews with these games. So I'd expect to see a LOT more reviews done on both past and upcoming games in the near future.

@SeanD1972 I couldn't live in a society without video games, but in a society without violent video games, sure.

@zaxrider It'll probably release in the same time frame as the console versions, since it's being developed on PC and ported to console this time around.

@RC-Sev It's being developed on PC and ported to PS3 and X360 this time, so it should be better, even without mods.

@gokulgamer No, in demon's souls, they have a flat HP decrease when in soul form. There was also a ring that increased that max could form HP cap, so people did play in soul form after getting that ring, because they only lost about 15-25% of their hp, and they could die without having their world tendency affected. But in Dark Souls 2, it sounds more like the max HP decrements will stack, in that if you keep dying in undead form, your max hp will keep going down. So, small difference.

@TrueGB The game is not supposed to be a co-op experience. The co-op aspect of the game is present just to allow players who are having a hard time with certain aspects of the game to get some help and possibly learn how to deal with certain situations.

@---Cipher--- I actually take vageta311's stance on players using cheap tactics. That is, I don't mind, because the more players who depend on cheap tactics, the more opportunities I have to learn how to counter them. And when I do, they're all gonna have to learn too or just get pawned.

@timtedtomtod @DarknessxVega @sladakrobot Honestly, if they remove invasions, they'd have to remove co-op possibilities too. I dunno about Demon's Souls, but in Dark Souls, invasions and co-op are linked directly to the lore (if only in a minor way). Especially if you're in a covenant. I mean, in your very first meeting with solaire, he tells you that your world is linked with the world of other undead, and not all of them are friendly. Being invaded isn't supposed to feel right, it's supposed to be someone invading another person's world to try and profit off of killing a weaker target, with the target being forced to fight for his/her survival. That's how it was intended to be, that's how it makes the atmosphere more tense. And it DOES function in the same way the rest of the game does. Getting invaded and dying to an invader is the same as dying to a regular enemy. You learn from your mistakes, and the next time someone invades you, you try to make sure you don't commit the same errors as last time. The only difference is that the invader benefits in some way, while you die and have to get back your humanity and souls. So no, being invaded is not supposed to "feel right", it's not always supposed to be 2 people desperately fighting to the death. It iS supposed to be about someone trying to benefit from ambusing and killing another player for his or her own game, and it is also supposed to be about the player fighting back and doing his/her best to punish the invader for invading his or her world.
