try hooking the pc up with dvi or vga also press the caps lock on ur keyboard does ur caps lock light come on? you make sure you hooked up the 4 pin ground wire? next to the cpu? make sure all wires are plugged in you might of missed something lol. make sure video card powerwire is plugged in. clear the bios by taking out the battery for like 30 seconds.I have just built my PC, however when I press the power switch the PC does not start up. Instead, the fan just hums continuously, up in pitch and down in pitch, over and over again, and there is no picture outputted via HDMI. The keyboard lights flash when it goes on, so I at least guess the motherboard must be receiving some power. This is the first time it has ever been booted up. PSU is a Corsair 550w.
