I haven't even bothered getting the current gen consoles yet because there are so many games for the last gen that I still want to play.

My favourite genre is RPG, but with a good story. I love getting lost in another world. I especially like open world RPGs because you have so many choices of what you can do.

  I'm surprised no one else has mentioned Smuggler's Run. I had an absolute blast playing that in multiplayer with my brother as a kid.

My first choices were the Broodmother and Cleopatra, but I see they've already been mentioned. I also think that the gluttony monster from Dante's Inferno is pretty disgusting. Actually, pretty much everything in Dante's Inferno is disgusting.

@Treflis: This idea is genius. I would love to play that!

What I think a horror game should have are a good storyline and a proper atmosphere. Something I think horror game creators should avoid is lots of blood and gore merely for the shock-value. As @Maddie_Larkin mentioned, we hack and slash so many monsters as gamers that it doesn't really affect us in the intended way.
