I dont know man you came off as kind of entitled. Instead of dismissing him maybe you could have just helped him out? It would have token a equal amount of time as it did not helping him. Maybe people would stick around if everyone tried to be as nice and helpful as they could.
With only a 133 posts, I think it would be fine if you did a little research on your own, after all this is a site you post at, the least you can do is some research into it's history.
It seems you want someone else to dig around for you...with such a small post count and history at GS, that doesn't seem like a good deal.
My ps3 was doing that when I was trying to get it to work with my hdmi cable. It would just completely shut off whenever I turned it on and then start blinking red till I hit the button. Works fine on standard component cables.
