[QUOTE="familyguyvs360"][QUOTE="purplemidgets"]Oh Yeah! You forgot to mention that it's FREE! Not like XBL where you haft to buy the wallpapers $$$, can we say mega milkage! You can use images that are already existing on your PC for that. You don't have to pay for that functionality. Hope that helps and congrads on your future purchase of an Xbox 360. -Days Airlines. I own one! Gamertag=FW WillKills MI can't wait to put up my own images as wallpaper.

Seriously dont talk to me til you have taken classes on game development or uses the program maya.Pope_3000
You just basicaly owned yourself in what you just said! If the class is so easy then why does the game look the way it does after being in development for over a year and already in Beta? Also don't you think that these Pro-Developers would not have a problem then? So what's the problem!? Why can't they improve it already? If you can supply a credible source, good....If not you fail!I'm so suprised how many people in system wars dont really know how a game is made... take a simple class on the software Maya and you will be enlightened.

Thanks! I was going to install vista 64bit, but I'll wait until they work out the major bugs they got. I heard it sucks for gaming.wow.. nice computer you've got there familyguy! sure would want to have that!
just finished mounting my new computer last weekend, not the best, but I'm satisfied.

Yeah you could say average yet it will play every single game maxed out and for quite a long time. 8800ultra is a waste and so is quad core. Ive seen CPU tests between the two and they are not that derastic.
I second Killfox on that. Most of these new technologies are good for people that have applications made to make use of multiple processors and multiple gpus. The avarage gamer has games like CoD2, WoW, CoH, Supreme Commander, etc. That have yet to make use of the power these new rigs can pack.
Even though, you sure have a good system that will last for quite a bit, now that's something I would like to have.
Therefore, until you see a Game [Crysis, I think] or application [3Ds Max 10 or AutoCAD 2007] that supports these beast from the ground up, you will not see their true performance.
Nice PC you got there, have you overclocked it yet?
Not yet, I'm pretty sure I won't overclock the 8800GTX card because I don't want to void the manufactures lifetime warranty I got with it. Also I might be getting another card and run it in SLI mode soon anyways. As far as the cpu it has 3 years.Well the 32 bit is the way to go right now because the support and drivers for the 64 bit are horrible for gaming. The reason the OEM's are so cheap is because you don't have the option to install one or the other (32 or 64) because you are only buying the 32 or 64 bit version. Unlike the retail that has both versions on one disk.heard there is bad driver support for 64bit version of vista, and any other info about which is better would be welcome
trying to decide which to get
and whats the catch with vista OEM's, why are they so cheap
and is this both 32 and 64bit? how does that work?
vista newb , thanks for help, need the best vista for gaming rig use
btw leaning towards vista home basic of some sort, seems best for gaming, less junk
