[QUOTE="I-Need-Games"][QUOTE="fartwrangler"][QUOTE="I-Need-Games"] Theories, That is all they are. They can't be entirely proved nor disproven. If you do your research, the about 83% of scholars believe in a God. God can be considered a theory too. It just depends on your beliefs. And I doubt hundreds of millions of people would believe in God for nothing. :]

'Theory' does not imply 'cannot be proved nor disproven'. Also, that's two posts in a row you've pulled statistics out of your ass. Want to make it a hat trick with some bollocks about the chance of God not existing? **** knows you've destroyed your credibility with argumentum ad populum and basic misunderstandings of scientific vocabulary enough that you can't really sink any lower.

I'm not about to argue with some atheist type deal. Moderator, Please lock this thread. Thanks! :]

And there I was thinking you'd just spent several posts arguing with 'some atheist type deal'. Don't let that stop you running away with your tail between your legs though.

[QUOTE="I-Need-Games"][QUOTE="fartwrangler"][QUOTE="I-Need-Games"] Nahhhh. The big bang is just a theory. At best. Remember? It's not fact. Neither is the God that lives in heaven. Beliefs are based on your faith. You believe in Big bang, I don't. I happen to believe we were all created by one eternal supreme being. Everything about science is mostly theoritic. About 50% is.

Along with the theory of relativity and germ theory, right? The categories 'theory' and 'fact' are not mutually exclusive. Game over.

[QUOTE="sonicare"] There's a huge difference.LJS9502_basic

There's a difference, but I wouldn't call it huge. In fact, it's a pretty fine line.

No it's not. I can be prejudiced against group A but not hate them in the least.

You agree, I assume, that the prejudice against a group is proportional to hatred against them?

[QUOTE="I-Need-Games"][QUOTE="fartwrangler"][QUOTE="I-Need-Games"] Well I mean for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction... This world didn't come by chance. There was no big bang... If the big bang did happen, how come it hasn't already happened again since the earth is billions of years old... Everything was meant to be the way it was. I'm not saying this is 100% fact but it is what I believe.

*snort* Newton is rolling in his grave at that. There is extensive evidence for the big bang, primarily in cosmic microwave background radiation and redshift of distant galaxies. There is also no reason why the big bang would have reoccurred by now.

[QUOTE="I-Need-Games"][QUOTE="fartwrangler"][QUOTE="I-Need-Games"]Here is what I believe. We all exist for a purpose. We each have a role to play in life. It is all leading up to something. Whether it would be extinction or a new beginning. Everything that happens happens for a reason. It is all fated. No matter if you change your mind about something, it was fated from the get go. When your time is up to live, your time is up. It was that appointed date you were going to die. There are no conscidences. No chance of luck. Fate... That's all. I believe in God and Jesus but that is a whole nother subject we are going to stay off of. :]

There are random elements of the physical world that at times have macroscopic effects, therefore you are wrong when you claim that fate exists.

[QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"][QUOTE="fartwrangler"][QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"] It it's any of Gabu's polls....none of those equated to hate.

Oh, yes - evidently the general population is so very apathetic that it wouldn't elect an atheist president. Don't even try to argue. You're wrong, and you've lost. Not that you've ever had the maturity or honesty to accept that or ever will.

I see you haven't read my posts. I said they AREN'T COMFORTABLE with differences. That does NOT equate to hate. And no where in those polls was the conclusion hatred.

Where did I mention hate?

[QUOTE="warownslife"]

]Oh i get it. Where talking about people that have never done anything wrong and still veiwed badly. Then i would have to go with either muslims or athiests. I really can't decide which is more hated by the general population.

LJS9502_basic

The general population doesn't care that much TBH.....but I guess it makes some feel good to belong to a group that they perceive is hated.

Did you see the Gallup poll posted previously? :|

[QUOTE="fartwrangler"]How do you know karma happens? And by the way, your poll is crap.AznKSor

How rude :P Karma just happens.Like for example you gave someone a dollar extra because they were short on cash.Then few minutes later, you might find money on the ground or the shop owner saw you give him cash so he could say hey you'll get a discount.Karma is mostly made by man not Nature.

That's not Karma. Of course sometimes a good deed leads to reward and vice versa. This proves nothing. You could live a highly virtuous life and then get stabbed to death for your wallet. Life's unfair, and Karma is unsubstantiated wishful thinking and nothing more.
