Did you reinstall your gpu drivers? When i upgraded to sli i had about a %30-%60 increaseferret837

i didnt know you had to do that, how do you do that ?

Edit: wait are the GPU drivers the same as the graphics cards drivers...? because I had to update them to get the SLI to work in the first place.

Hey I just got another 8800GT and put it in SLI with my current one, I was hoping for an increase in performance but instead got a significant decrease

Originally(1card):

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT
Manufacturer: NVIDIA
Chip type: GeForce 8800 GT
DAC type: Integrated RAMDAC
Device Key: EnumPCIVEN_10DE&DEV_0611&SUBSYS_053C10DE&REV_A2
Display Memory: 1756 MB
Dedicated Memory: 477 MB
Shared Memory: 1278 MB
Current Mode: 1680 x 1050 (32 bit) (60Hz)

Now (SLI 2 cards):

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT
Manufacturer: NVIDIA
Chip type: GeForce 8800 GT
DAC type: Integrated RAMDAC
Device Key: EnumPCIVEN_10DE&DEV_0611&SUBSYS_053C10DE&REV_A2
Display Memory: 1630 MB
Dedicated Memory: 479 MB
Shared Memory: 1150 MB

Can nayone give me a reason why this might happen, because I'm kinda disapointed that I may have just wasted $300

Ok i just got my card and the bridge, they're installed, the card's fan is spinning and nothings wrong except the popup that says enable SLI didnt pop up, and also there's no option in the nvidia control panel to enable it ... whats going on ?

hey i just found something in the device manager, is the VGA graphics adapter supposed to be my new card... because its aa XFX Geforce 8800GT not what they're saying it is ?!?!?!? I hate this
