Anyone tried this? The PS2 version needs some anti-aliasing real bad and the camera is always a struggle to work with. The actual gameplay is bland but somehow I still play this game. I'm not a huge fan of the Simpsons but the dialogue within this game and the padories of video games makes me wanna continue and discover what other levels the game is gonna throw at me.
I'm not sure if I'll play the game until I finish it... I have Manhunt 2 calling my name.

Finished God of War 2 today... what a ride! I enjoyedit more than the original... and the ending alone makes me wanna go get a PS3 right now for Part 3.
Anyway, I think I'll rent The Simpsons Game for PS2 this weekend... it looks like a game someone can finish in a couple days.

I'm looking for a Christmas gift for my little bro and I think of these games would make him happy but I can't decide which one I should get him. Saint's Row is about 20$ cheaper so unless Crackdown is a lot more fun I'd go with SR.
What do you guys think? I don't have a 360 so I can't preview those games myself.

Haven't posted in a while. All my free time is going into Guild Wars and whatever i'm playing on the PS2. I'm gonna try to play all the games I wanted to play on the PS2 and since less and less games are being made for it.. i'll be able to catch up. Once I retire the PS2 I think I'll be getting a Nintendo DS since the Price is right. It would be my first Nintendo console since I got the SNES back in 92. There seems to be a decent library of games for the DS now. It plays Game Boy Advance games too.. so that's another plus.
I did 2 new reviews for the last PS2s I've played. MOH: Euro Assault and Stuntman Ignition. The current PS2 game I'm wasting time on is NCAA Football 08. It's good stuff.

I've been beta testing the game over the weekend and I quite enjoy it! The interface is self-explanatory, the graphics are looks decent even if most of the advanced options are greyed out and the combat is cool. I ran into a bug in a certain mission but they fixed it the day after. The lag is not that bad even if the servers are probably running in diagnostic modes. I've never payed for a MMO before and my only taste of this genre was Anarchy Online and Sword of the New Coast during the free Beta testing phase so I'm not an expert in these types of games.
The Beta is closed today but they will do a character wipe on Thursday and at 5PM Central time they are keeping the servers running 24/7 for a least a week. WOOT.
I never played or seen Halo in action when it came out in 2001 for the XBOX, it was a time period when it was in college and that I had no time for games... all my spare time was spent drinking with my lads hehe. I just finished playing Halo on the PC and I'm impressed on what the game offered for a 2001 console game ported for the PC in 2003. The guns and combat is exciting but g*d**n.. what's with the copy/paste "corridor-esque"indoor levels?! I almost quit on the game during that Library mission... the story and the part of me that wanted to know what would happen next made me continue on.
Now thatI finished the game... I'm actually looking forward to playing Halo 2 since one of my best buds is gonna lend me his Xbox 360 for a couple of weeks (god bless him). I'm sure Halo 2 is a far better game than the first one even with the cliffhanger ending thing I keep hearing about... but who cares... Halo 3 is on it's way!
Anyway i'm rambling... time to watch some TV with the family. You can check out my Halo review I did if you wish.

How many of you got their hands on Madden 08today? Everyone and their dogs has a copy of it at work. I got the PC version, hopefully i can config the gamepad to suit me... it's pretty old. I used to get the game for the PS2 and i made the switch for PC this year, since i can actually run the game with all the graphics set to high!
