I have a feeling the same people who say the PSP is better than the DS also say PS1 was better than N64 and PS2 was better than Gamecube. Graphics aren't everything. (then again, I don't have either handheld, so you can probably ignore my opinion. :P)

I'd be willing to bet thatby January or so MW will have more players online than MW2. Matchmaking vs. Dedicated servers isn't a big deal for people who buy the game and play multiplayer for a month or so, it's a big deal for the people who play the game for years after release. Of course, it doesn't matter to IW since they gain the same profit from both groups.
Brawl's more a party game than a fighting game...Melee, however, is a fighting game.
It just goes to show that PC gaming is all but irrelevant when it comes to the buisness decisions of game publishers/developers. They really don't care what a very small minority of gamers who have PC's to run MW2 think about it, because they will sell 2 million units of the game for consoles and make a fortune, while they will be lucky to sell 750,000 on PC because of pirating.

MW sold a few million on PC and I'm positive that MW2 would've sold the same if not better had IW decided to actually support the PC community.
i remember patch 1.2 for BF2, which made it not run on certain GFX card types, whereas before it had... i was one of the affected... man i was pi$$ed, at least they fixed it eventualymarriage0
Was just about to say the 1.2 patch for BF2 but for a different reason. That's the patch they decided to "fix" the LMG's by giving them perfect accuracy on the first shot. So for one patch everyone just ran around with full auto sniper rifles, and had infinite ammo. Fun...
Unrelated note: lol, no. Final Dest has infamous as the choice of "pro" players. It's common knowledge.

It used to be. It's become less popular recently. Even Falco players are starting to pick other stages. In my experience, Pokemon Stadium is the most popular competitive stage right now, but that could just be my area.
[QUOTE="jeffwulf"]I stopped reading at "professional gamers." It was just so inane I couldn't read anymore without having the possiblity of spontaneous death to stupidity intake.ssbfalco
Professional Gamers: == Gamers who turn the fun options off, and refuse to play on the fun stages.
example: Gamers who refuse to play Smash Bros Meele with items or on any stage that's not "Tournement Legal", where Final Destination is the preferred stage.
Correction: Competitive Smash is fun and Final Destination is not most people's preferred stage.
And Galaxy is awesome.
