I wonder if this is why Josh Isom left as lead community manager. Regardless, I think they were held up to high standards by the growing popularity of Dungeon Defenders when it was on 2 humble bundles. I just hope this won't delay the release of the main DD2 game, I couldn't care less about the MOBA part of it.
Microsoft must have some killer games lined up, because they obviously aren't relying on making any money off the console itself.
I know personally internet connections go down sometimes, and sometimes for more than a day. I don't like the feeling of being crippled because I don't have internet access.
This is just gonna cost them more money in the long run, especially if they are the only ones doing it. If there is better resale value for a Wii U or PS4 game, then people are going to buy the game for those systems, even if they also happen to own an X1. I know I and a lot of other people buy new games by trading old ones.
@Epic75 I have seen tons of gory stuff in video games and movies, but I still cringe when I see pictures and video of real life gore (like some of the pictures from the boston marathon). I wouldn't be so quick to say that these games and movies desensitize you to real life violence, we as humans can tell the difference between fantasy and reality.
