nobody really knows. it didnt have a very good story to it, but the game itself makes up for it.FendersONLY
Are you sure you played the game? I thought the story made up for the shortness of the game.
Here is a breakdown of the story:
The game starts with Kratos defending the city of Attica from a Persian attack. At this point he is still a servant to the Gods and so it is his task to kill the basilisk (giant monster thingy). Much like the previous games you get used to the mechanics while you battle the beast on and off. Eventually you defeat it and the real story develops. Kratos sees the sun plunge into the earth, carried by the sun chariot. Upon investigating Kratos discovers that the sun god helios has disappeared and that the god of dreams Morpheus has taken over. You discover that the titan Atlas was released from his prison in Tartarus and has imprisoned Helios. While exploring the underworld you see a glimpse of Kratos' daughter. While chasing her you encounter the goddess of the underworld, persephone. In exchange for your powers, you are able to see your daughter, even though you are warned that the world of man could be destroyed if you do not complete your mission. You agree (not like you have a choice) and sacrifice all of your powers. You are reunited with Kratos' daughter but it does not last long. Persephone tricked you into giving up your powers so that both Olympus and the world of man would be destroyed. Unfortunately this means that Kratos and his daughter would also be destroyed. So Kratos is forced to leave his daughter behind, regain his powers, and defeat Persephone.
That is the basic jist of it. But a lot of the emotion cannot be conveyed in a forum post. Watching Kratos leave his daughter was hard to watch. I always pitied Kratos in the first two games so this part of the story really added character depth.
Well that is 4gb for $40 or if you scroll down you can find 8gb for $77.

has anybody bought a psp just for GOW.
JJCNUT
I bought a PSP for GoW, but I never owned one before so I plan on going back and picking up the gems I missed out on. I am also looking forward to Crisis Core and Kingdom Hearts. So while GoW was the final push to get me to pick up a daxter pack, it is not the sole reason I bought a PSP.
That said, I don't think any system is worth buying for just one game. You should at least be interested in some of the other games.
Kingdom hearts Birth by Sleep. Dissidia: Final Fantasy.WSGRandomPerson
Those are the two games I am most looking forward to.
WILL PSP DIE OUT AND WILL NINTENDO DS TAKE OVER ITS SPOT BECAUSE IF YOU DO YOUR RESEARCH PSP
CONSOLE ITS SELF HAS SOLD 25.39 million WORLDWILE WHILE NINTENDO DS HAS SOLD 64.79 million WORLD WIDE.
WHY IS PSP NOT A HUGE HIT?
PLEASE ANSWER
THANX:)

Well according to VGchartz the PSP has sold 31.72M and the DS 68.14M. So I have done my research. You need to realize that a handheld like the PSP had no chance of de-throning nintendo in the handheld market. But the PSP has done a good job so far. I know when it was released many people bashed it and said it would never last. But now the PSP has over 30% of the handheld market share. Nintendo went from 100% down to 70%. Still a substantial lead, and I don't see Nintendo loosing the lead any time soon, but their monopoly of the handheld market is over.
With great games still on the horizon and firmware updates, I could see the PSP still going strong for some time. Take myself for example. I waited all this time and I finally purchased a PSP last week. Just too many good games for me to resist. I think games like GoW and Crisis Core can really move a lot of units. Crisis Core already did in Japan.
