On the topic of Hype, when a game is OVERhyped you can start to believe it and think the game is way better than it actually is. Case and point:

GTA IV

Fanboys, stay out of this because when it comes down to it, GTA IV sucks. It is by far one of the dullest, boring, and repetitive games I've ever played. But for that first two or three weeks I was riding the hype train and thought otherwise. Then on May 24th, I decided "This game is crap" THE END. I didn't have fun playing the same mission over and over (chase this guy and shoot him while he's driving) I didn't like having to take time out of my fun I had to keep my relations up with my "friends" in game, I didn't like being bothered every two minutes by my idiot "friends" wanting to go see a show. In GTA IV is didn't feel like I could go on a rampage whenever I felt like it like I did in GTA III, VC, and SA. 

GTA IV just sucked flat out. Most overhyped game this year by far, and I'll cringe everytime it gets a GOTY.

They need a full beard option...
