Its just the demo, because I too downloaded the demo and the graphics were are all grainy and fuzzy. Sounds like you have your stuff hooked up right, thats how mine is set up and all my game looks great.ungodlyabyss
That seems crazy to have the demo look grainy but the full game is ok. I downloaded uncharted and it looks good. I was starting to get worried there for a bit!!
To me a grainy picture quality is totally unacceptable.
Blizzerk, mind if I add you?Matt-4542
Sure, but I'm old dude. I've probably been gaming longer than you've been alive...lol
Sorry to be off topic but nice Gamerpic  Got the same one :lol:Matt-4542
Yah cool, i saw that too. For some reason I don't see an Uncharted demo listed. I'll check the search filter to make sure. Downloading resistance for now.
My PSN: Blizzerk, but I don't have any games yet. Just trying to get a better idea on what to buy.
Go to {Display setting} and enable the setting called (RGB full range) (hdmi) to Full, and (super-white) (HDMI) setting turn that ON also.CessPool
Everything but super white is enabled. I don't think my tv supports it.
I removed the 1080i from the display settings. This lowered the res which looks worse. Adding 1080i back to settings. I'll download the uncharted demo. If it still looks bad then I hope I just need to calibrate my tv better.
Curious what you dudes think. I've been playing 360 since launch but got a ps3 @ walmart with the $100 gift card rebate. I'm connected using hdmi to my 40" Sammy lcd. My question relates to picture quality. I haven't yet bought a game for it. So, I downloaded the Bad Company demo and the picture quality isn't so great. It looks somewhat grainy and has some jaggies. My tv is 720p/1080i. I've calibrated my tv the best I can without having a calibration disc. Within the settings I've enabled 480p, 720p, and 1080i. The dashboard shows to be forced at 1080i. Could this be my problem? I don't have the grainy issues when using the 360 this makes me think I haven't set up the ps3 correctly.
Can anyone point me to a site that would help get the most out of my ps3 and tv?
