Best way to stop piracy is to make a great game that people will want to buy it for the whole package. Oblivion had NO copyprotection whatsoever and still sold very well.TheCrazed420
Anyone know how many Oblivion copies sold for the pc vs 360?
Hmm, you may be in the pc gamer minority. PC gamers scream foul when they're "forced" to do something. PC gamers want to play by their own rules. And if they don't like those rules then a lot of them whine and complain. Guess why most get their panty's knotted? It's hard to pirate a game when online authentification is required. IMO the pc communtiy is very negative and unappreciative towards their own platform. Anytime I see Vista in relation to gaming their is always a rant, griping and whining involved. If you want you're pc gaming experience to improve then support it. In my book a 3 year WoW subscription doesn't really quallify as support for pc gaming.I think that the more games come out, the harder the companys will have to push for it. The only way they'll do it is by restricting single player with a used CD key or something... creating an account with CD keys on that all companies use would be a good one... then making people sign in to play single player would prevent piracy
