@rglgathrawn: 2015: "Nintendo needs more games!!!!"

2017: "Nintendo released to many games!!! Losers!"

What kind of backwards mentality is this?

@DARREN636: So do people buy things they DONT want on a regular basis? I sure don’t. So either they like being taken advantaged or they find value in the purchase.

@mrbojangles25: Though I agree with you, the place to post this is not only here but it’s where the casuals are. They are the ones purchasing and buying MTs. Also find the whales. The ones paying thousands of dollars on MTs like it’s nothing. Then only then will you make a true impact. Good luck.

@129260: How can you say it looks terrible when there is a video embedded in this article with them playing the game? It looks fine to me.

Though I do not advocate the inclusion of microtransactions in video games, let figure out where the blame needs to be placed. On the players? If you lack self control and cannot stop yourself from entering your credit card info to pay for crystals, or loot boxes then what’s the true problem here? Is it the loot box or is it you? As scummy as it is, microtransactions are big revenue generators for a reason, people buy them. What does that tell these companies? That people want them? That people like to pay for them? That they want more of them? Can you blame them for thinking this way? Yes there are whales but they don’t make up a huge percentage of the revenue do they? Where is the blame placed then? The companies for putting something in the game that gamers are telling them it’s ok to do because they buy them? Or the players for having no self control or having a gambling addiction they can’t control because they really want that Zenyatta skin?

@Xylymphydyte: “I care what the media thinks of games”

Psssshhh. Another sheep letting others dictate how to spend their hard earned money. The only opinion I care about is MY OWN. It’s my money and I spend it how I want. This conversation is over. LOL.

@Xylymphydyte: It runs fine. It plays fine, looks fine, sounds fine. You want to be a picky graphics whore that’s fine, go ahead. I play games to have fun not look at shiny object on my screen. Please reference this comment when a NINTENDO game wins game of the year in a few weeks.

The problem comes from people who don’t frequent gaming websites and media. It’s causials and people who don’t care about microtransactions that are feeding this monster. Until they stop supporting this it will never go away. I personally have stopped buying “AAA” games for this reason. The only games worth my money are games without microtransactions.

@Xylymphydyte: The game runs fine, not poorly. Yes, they had to make compromises it still doesn’t mean the game runs poorly.

2015: “Nintendo needs 3rd party!”

2107: Nintendo gets 3rd party—”It’s still not good enough”

If you played the 3rd party games Nintendo has recently released or are going to release soon on other consoles then you are going to purchase them again because the game is now portable and YOU KNOW graphical compromises are going to exist. If you don’t own a Switch and own the games already on another console the YOU ARE NOT THE TARGET AUDIENCE. Move on.
