[QUOTE="fiveftwang"]Can yall tell me about the series? What is the battle like...etc.Alexander146
Well, since Alter Code F is the latest WA I've played, I'll explain that one. :P
WA, as a whole, is turn based, and in AC: F each character has specific actions. Rudy attacks with his ARM (Essentially a legendary gun...thing) and can use special ammo types and shooting functions. Jack, who I see as the pure melee character, is essentially melee with special abilities you learn throughout the game, and they improve the more you use them. Now, Cecilia is the mage of the game. You increase her spell repetroire by obtaining Crest Graphes and creating spells from them. She is initially weak in melee....VERY weak, but eventually (And I do mean EVENTUALLY), she can hold her own in melee, but not nearly as much as Jack or Rudy. Of course, that's only the MAIN player characters.
Which brings me to a rant as to why AC: F is the best WA game I've played. Yes, it's essentially a remake of WA1, but it makes it SO MUCH BETTER. The new character designs/graphics are awesome, you get THREE NEW PLAYABLE CHARACTERS(Plus a special secret one), the villains are given MUCH more personality, and the story's dialogue has been slightly tweaked for the better. That's all my opinion, of course.
So they are all turn-based? I love turn-based. Are the stories generally good? How do you go about exploring?
