Option 6 would be cool but hard to pull off without it either losing the classic Zelda feel or becoming the Legend of Fable or something.

Maybe but if they did it right it would be ok I still say 2 Dante From DMC series has to be one of the best assuming they give him good 1 liners.

it is pretty sad on how many 3rd party games the wii misses out on due to it's inferior specsKGB32

Can't say I blame 3ed partys it would be like making new games for last generation but only for 1 system not worth it IMO.

Twilight Princess already marks the most personable Link in the series. They not only have motion capture in the actual cutscenes, but he has more facial expressions than WW Link did.

Lunar6

I'm sorry but facial expressions =/= Personality he needs to actually say somthing

Link should not have a personality and the 1st post is a perfect example why. Let's say, for example, that flapjean expects Link to be personality "A" and I expect Link to be personality "B". If Nintendo decided to give Link personality "A", I would be disappointed. On the other hand, If Link was given personality "B", I would be happy but flapjean would be disappointed. That's what makes Link such a great character to play as. You, as the player, have the freedom to portray Link in whatever manner you see him. You are not confined to seeing him portrayed with the personality the developers think he should have.

On a second note, this also explains why Link should remain mute. I'm all for supporting full voice work for every other NPC you come across, but it would be extremely hard to give him a voice without defining his personality.

Option 6 that is all

Maybe but at least Mario has an Accent which is more of a personality than Link has.

This is what happens when Link gets a voice

PhazonBlazer

Knowing Nintendo you're probably right sad but true.
