[QUOTE="Mythbuster4ever"]Im against it. Imagine if someone like Steve Jobs was aborted. :( The_Ish

Imagine a world with Hitler aborted.

That argument goes both ways.

It would be something to think about though. Are more evil people born than good? Depending on your perception, you might choose differently. Like how many people are inventing cures to diseases? What if the cure for cancer was aborted. Or what if a super weapon or virus is invented. The deal with the second one would be the hands it lands in.

I think it would be better to give them the chance. More people would try to stop the negative when it is in the process of that move.

I never said it wasn't alive. I said it was not a real person, in response to your statement.

Mr_sprinkles

Re-read the statement it talks about both. Question: how is it not human?

in the same way that this is not an oak tree.

You can go out and cut down a oak tree and it is not a crime. If it was a protected plant, like human life. You would not be allowed to destroy a acorn.

I am against it. I would not choose it at all. It is taking life away. I am also for the death penalty for crimes that deserve it. That does mean I am a hypocrite. I think laws are there for a reason to protect us so if a crime deserves a death sentence so be it. It is a law to benefit society, dont commit the crime. There are issues when somebody gets raped or their life is in danger which is a very small part of the problem. Those circumstances are hard for me to decide. I dont think it is right still but I think the person who has to make that decision should get consoling from people that have been through those situations on the decision they need to make. I would like to see people that get abortions to be fined, both the man and the woman. I believe people need to be responsible for their actions. Accidents happen but would not have if the risk was not taken. That is the case with everything but you have to deal with your own accidents like everybody else. Thats how I feel.

I spoke to my friend about this situation this morning. Her parents are from Cuba (her father actually spent some time in jail there for trying to come to America, he finally made it), and she still has family over there. She told me that they all believe that it will be the same old thing. They think that he will still be calling the shots, and that his "plan" will still be in effect long after he and his brother are gone. I'm not so sure that it is time to raise the Cuba Libre's in celebration just yet.strieeyes

I have read most of the same. Hopefully the people will be able to make their voice heard.

He is gone. Fidel has resigned? I am glad this guy is a wreck. I have been hearing in the news Cubans are excited about the possibility of freedom. We will see. I know there are a bunch of commies that like him so I am wondering who is happy and who is upset?

I think I have played with you online. That sucks man. I am not sure of the policy but I would imagine it has been building up. Sorry to hear it. Anyway trash talking is weak. So maybe you should just grow up and play the game. Or if that is too much for you trash them when they cant hear you.
