It should be. They're giving out random Alpha codes to players of BC2 according to one of the tech's at my buddys shop. He was playing the Alpha in the back, when I asked him, he told me he he got the email and as far as he could tell it's just random. There should be more posts about it soon I'm sure.
Also if I went with either, should I go with MSI or EVGA, brand wise?

I have 2 of the MSI 580gtx's and they're pure champs. Overclock nicely on air, rock solid performance, zero issues. I don't think you can go wrong with either brand, they're both backed by great service.
After using many cases from Lian Li, to the HAF 932. I've used the Centurian and may I suggest using the HAF 912 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119233&Tpk=HAF%20912 I find it has great cooling, keeping 580 GTX sli'd at 77 ish while gaming. Lots of room for drives. Great looks. Consider it, the case got fantastic reviews.

So because you supposedly never had problems it invalidates everyone else's problems? I've stated above, that I my self, nor the wife, or the other friends we LAN with have had any issues what so ever, since the release of HL2 when I started to use the service. Corrupted downloads, slow speeds, disconnects, all these issues can come from a very large number of different issues. Nothing happens magically with computers unless its a hardware failure, virus',spyware, all notorious for causing issues like those above, are all user error. SImple as that.

Don't be that ignorant. Steam isn't *perfect*. There is nothing ignorant with the fact that I've stated I my self, or no one I know directly has had issues with Steam.
