[QUOTE="terrellpakeman"]800 gamerpoints to change it. Now I need to come up with another funny tag. Any suggestions?r_e_l_i_e_n_tDIxie Nourmous sandinurvag mike hawk mike hunt
those are good, but I think he should go with "Harry Ballsonia" lol
your simple mind was correct. you have a 4:3 monitor, not a 16:9 (widescreen). 720p is a wide screen hdtv option. since you arent wide screen you chose the better option for your screen.[QUOTE="rdo"][QUOTE="jay_k3"]I got a question. What is a better resolution, 720 or 768? I been playing on my monitor, and I been hearing that 720 is a better resolution compared to 768. As simple minded as I am, I thought maybe 768 would be a better resolution thinking that there are more lines. My monitor resolution is 1440x900. I usually play on 1280x768. I wanted to know if it would be better to play on 720, or if the better resolution is indeed 768. ThanksTimothyB
Where do you get 4:3 for his monitor when he said it's 1440*900, that's 16:10, still widescreen, just slightly less wide than 16:9.
He should just use 1360*768 that the 360 gives with VGA, sadly it doesn't give exactly 1366*768. But overall there is no difference since the 360 renders first at 720p and then upscales, so 768p is no better except the 360 might upscale better to that than your monitor does.
its not less wide at all, its just a little more taller.
Everyone has DN3D..... If they don't, they have no business in this forum. :)SuperBeast
agreed!
anyone try the high-def 3d pack? its killer :)
[QUOTE="fm_coyote"]The mods he mentioned dont break those rules. They don't affect the economy, the client, or the characters. Just the UI.Furthermore, any activities not intended by game design which affect the economy, the client, player characters or the world itself have a tremendous negative impact on the potential enjoyment for all players. The effects of these activities take many forms including a bloated game economy, server instability, and allowing unauthorized access to accounts, computers, and player data.
THATS where your programs fall under, nice try, even if all your friends use it, it does not mean blizzard accepts it. If all your friends decided drinking the stuff under the kitchen sink was fun, would you take a sip? lol

regardless, if he got banned, there must be something wrong. and in the very simplest form, ANY mod is not allowed by ANY TOS agreement. Read it.

Ok have you got the 360 fan or as the guy above has done slapped your laptop/pc fan to your system?Sevenus
I have the intercooler, the one everyone says kills your 360, I;ve had it for 6 months and its fine, i;ve never had a problem using it, and neither has the other 2 360's in the house had issues. As a matter of fact, between the 3 in my house, and friends, we ALL have intercoolers, and no one has ever had an issue.
[QUOTE="psssicosssniper"]i haven't heard a story about a 360 overheating no matter how many hours straight its been played your 360 is more likely to brake from three red lightsSevenus
I understand that three red lights will cause your 360 to BREAK but how does your 360 develop the Three Light Syndrome?
the red lights can come from hardware failuer, hardware failure can come from long term high temps, hence, a cooling fan will help prolong the life of the 360, simple. I have one, and I swear by it. I;ve played oblivion for 8 hours straight before, no issues, however, i once did that with the fan off, and it froze quite a few times.
