[QUOTE="shorty91"][QUOTE="deathseeker41"]Where did you get that idea? Hamachi is MEANT for networking computers together on a virtual LAN.t0adphr0g
Exactly. It actually isn't used as an "illegal filesharing Peer to Peer program". Do research before posting.
It IS a file sharing program, by saying a "virtual LAN" it is YOU who need to do research, it is NOT a way to play LAN games together, it is in fact a VPN, that is strictly created for filesharing, look it up.
All Hamachi does is allow people outside your router ( the WAN ) to get files off your computer in the same way "My Network Places" works. how is that not file sharing?!?!?

[QUOTE="Wildhang"]Oh yes Defender of the Crown, Played it. I think the company was called Cinemaware they also made It came from the Desert, friggin ants... Them dayz are missed.mightyboosh13It Came From the Desert....LOL Those were the days... tears to my eyes. All these young 360 & Sony fans never got to see or play the golden age of Amiga. Everyone talks about old Nes & Sega systems but for me I had them and had an Amiga and the Amiga was the system to have. I loved that system man why did it have to fail me... Piracy and America's neglect killed the poor Amiga. Remembering the days of SYNDICATE, BENEATH A STEEL SKY, CANNON FODDER, STUNT CAR RACER, ZOOL, PARALLEL STARS, WIZBALL, SPEEDBALL, MONKEY ISLANDS, INDIANA JONES ADVENTURES, SENSIBLE SOCCER, FLASHBACK, IT CAME FROM THE DESERT, SUPERFROG, PUTTY, SWIV, ALIEN BREED, MICRO MACHINES, CHAOS ENGINES the list goes on and on....
amen! lol
[QUOTE="fm_coyote"][QUOTE="Gokuja"][QUOTE="eddy5791"]Have you guys noticed that worms is a complete rip-off from that online game called gunbound? i just saw worms in gameplay and even though i loved gunbound a cpl years back, wow, this is an EXACT clone. I'm a little upset cuz i heard all this hype for Worms to find out it's this? w/e, i guess not all games can b original.
for those of you who have never heard of gunbound: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyKQIgE139I
and gunbound could not have possibly copied worms cuz gunbound has been around for years.
Gokuja
how many years? worms has been around for many years as well, appearing on ps1. im talking about worms: armaggedon and im sure there was 1 or 2 titles b4 that.
and who cares, if you like gunbound you'll like worms as well. games take inspiration and good things from other games and incorporate them into their own. sure it looks almost exactly the same, but if i were the developers of whichever came first i'd feel flattered that they liked the game soo much. also who made gunbound? maybe its the same developer, or maybe its just a mod or something. i dunno
worms was out on pc well before ps1
which is why i also said the other underlined statement, i knew there was just didnt know anything about worms until armaggedon
no worries, I was just stating a fact myself. I for one cannot wait for this game to hit XBL
[QUOTE="darksusperia"][QUOTE="raylewisnfl52"][QUOTE="SymphonicWaves"]No offense, but If your mom is using state of the art parts, I doubt your 360 is more powerful. Dual core, dual graphix cards, at least 2 gigs of ram, and a bad ass processor does crush a 360 in the gaming department. Just look at Crysis, that game will be like sex for the eyes.Gregorothyeah xbox 360 are not even close to a Geforces 8800 GTX video card you know that the 8800 GTX is whats in the ps3 huh.. which is already available on the market... and the ATI in the 360 is not until later this year...
Some people just flat out LIE. The comparative graphics card of the Xbox 360 is around the X1900XTX which has been available for ages. As for the PS3, I'm not sure but I definitely remember hearing it was comparable to a late 7 series, I think a 7800GTX...
thomass60r - aren't you going to list your mum's system specs for this 'state-of-the-art' pc that she's going to build?... because a high end motherboard doesn't mean s**t if the components are basic.
the PS3 is compareable to a 7800gtx, yes, gamespot even said so, the 8800gtx is twice as fast as the ps3.
[QUOTE="fm_coyote"]I'm sorry but that's ridiculous, a slow spinning disk will not wobble any more than a fast spinning one. If that where true then every time you start up a game it would scratch the disk to build up momentum... just doesn't make any sense.do you guys have your 360's plugged into power bars?
when i had mine like that, i got a scratch on a disk like that. Since I;ve moved it to the wall on its own, i;ve never had a problem, apparenty it prevents the 360 from getting full power, and when any drive does not have full power, the drive spins slower, causing the disk to wobble, and scratch. It even says not to use a power bar in the manual.
freakout247
im not the one who made the claim, im saying what I heard, and what i see now since i;ve followed the manual, and yes, a slow spinning disk does wobble more then a fast spinning disk, look it up.

huh.. Never new that.. thanks for the info maybe it will save my other games from a scratchy fate.
Ill try that... i just dont want to fry my 360 during a stormit also says in the manual that the power brick is a surge protector too.

hi my mum loves computers and shes built a few anyway shes building one with a pretty big budget and she says that it will be more powerful and my 360 i showed her the specs and she was shocked of how powerful the console was. Now this pc shes building has a very expensive motherboard and will be state of the art this just goes to show how powerful that system is i feel smug my console is more powerful than a state of the art pc lol anyway thanks for readingthomass60r
